I use the mp 510 batteries so I don't think this one is going to work for me

I just wanted to clarify for others that Res is referring to Mega Power batteries which are longer than normal 510 batteries (available from TW). All 510 batteries however say "MP" on them (from what I have seen) and MP on the battery doesn't mean anything in regards to normal or mega power batteries. :)

thank you for the clarification kevin. Has anyone tried to put a mega power 510 in one of the cases?

I haven't tried putting a mega power battery in one of these, but I did do this for my 510 with normal batteries and unless you take the cart off, the longer battery wouldn't fit in here.

I just used an SOS pad on my sanitizer bottle and it came completely clean. Didn't even have to "sand", just a light back & forth with the soap pad and the printed stuff came right off. I want to dip it in the Plasti-dip I found at Ace Hardware. They have a blue I can dip it into. I love it as a lanyard (if only I weren't always losing either the bottom or top part LOL someone needs to follow me around to keep me in line).

Going to go see my daughter at the end of the month. I think I'll get a few of these and use them. Is the liquid content 3 oz. or less? I'm going to leave the sticker on them and take them though security.

I know liquid won't make any difference because they won't be any liquid, but you never know about airport security!!! And I'm thinking about post ban problems.

i have never posted a pic, I hope it works...

Cool. Can I send you mine to decorate?
Had to pick up meds today at Wally World and couldn't find them, but I'll keep looking.
I have seen one though. They are going to be bigger than my mini. What can I use as padding to stop it from flopping around?

These are beautiful! Especially the Egyptian theme and the skulls. May I ask you what kind of paint you used for the base and for the decoration?

I finally found these at Walgreen's today. Got the last 5-pack!

:thumb: for this case mod. I was carrying my auto 4081 in my pocket at work. I didn't want to do that with the 510, don't like burning myself or dead batts and attys.

I have about 5 of these sprays. Two of them I have already converted to a 510 case. Today at work I used one to clean my atty with hot water and it works great.
This is how it went:
- filled the the bottom part almost all the way up with hot water from the water cooler.
- placed my atty into the water with the battery connector on the top
- place cap on the case
- covered the air vents on the top of the cover with my thumb
- shook the case up and down several times
- use the air vents on the cap to drain the water
- slid the atty to the cover
- removed the atty from the cover
- blew out the atty and stood it over a paper towel to dry

Seems like a lot of work just to 'water' clean an atty but it was really quick and I think it did a good job. The case is thin enough that when it moves from the top to the bottom I feel that the water is being forced through the atty. In my opinion it is probably doing a better job than just holding it under the faucet. It uses very little water and as long as you remember to cover the air vents it is not very messy.

There are probably better ways to clean out your atty but if you already have one of these cases this may be a really easy way to clean an atty on the go.

just a thought

Thank you for the compliment! I sanded the color off the tubes with fine sand paper to make it pores, then I used fingernail polish and painted the base color on then I used mod podge (it is what they use to glue puzzles together, it dries clear) to protect and finish. I cut out little pictures from magazines and mod podged away!! I've been using them heavy all week and no paint has come off, still in great condition.

I love this because my 510 fits in like a glove. The inside of the cap has some excess plastic in it and when I put the cap on my 510 is held in place so no banging around. This is an awesome idea.

I will make you one if you like jj2 :) Just tell me what colors you like and some hobbies you have or a theme if you already have one. Seriously, these were so much fun to make I have like 10 now :)
