Thanks for posting this idea and all the results everyone got from them, fun stuff! I'm thinking it'd be easy to decoupage one of those plastic pins with cool images (yeah probably over the top, but that's me!)

The altoid tin is cool too, but I remember reading somewhere in the last few days not to store a pv in a pocket with metal (or a cell phone) - so would the metal altoid tin do something to the pv? Being a complete altoid junkie, I have empty tins stashed all over the house. I've seen some gorgeous altered art altoid tins.

Your very welcome! This is supposed to be fun! :)

(I found also that it can provide a small diversion in the early stags of quitting or cutting back on those nasty analogs.) ;)

As far as your Altoid® tins go... I don't know of any issues, but do know of many forum members in the past that have used them in the same way as PV cases. :)

I have a PCC for my Joye 510 but I live on a farm and I am afraid of the PCC being damaged or lost some where out on the property. I happened to find a empty Airborn container in a drawer. It has a nice tight fit (water proof? would imagine) and plenty of room for a bat and atty with carts to boot. I am gonna field test it while cutting down dead trees and splitting wood. The tube seems pretty durable.

Wow Very cool info~ ! Thanks for sharing this Stehle. I'm a brand new vaper and since my included carrying case (and I have a manual) doesn't have the space required to keep the atty and cartridge screwed together I was trying to think of ways to do just that. I am very grateful for your ingenuity and creativity, and for sharing it!

Your very welcome MaryMarcelle! :)

At a $1 a case or a little over it is still one of the cheapest & easiest ways to carry around a fully assembled 510 PV!

(I really like the clip around the farm here.) ;)

I wish you continued success with the vaping for the future! :)

After 40+ years on the analogs I'm here to say it works! ;)

This works great, thank you !

Happy vaping! :)

I found these as an anti-itch spray at a Dollar Tree store. Works great with my manual 510s. Thanks so much for sharing! :)

Such fun! Great find! :) Vape on & thank you for the info! :)

I use a chain designed for eyeglasses. The kr808 or 510 slide right into the holes and it dangles like a lanyard. When I want a drag, it's right there around my neck and ready.

I need to get me on of those for around the house, thank you for sharing! :)

The metal cases from Cignot and Good Prophets are lined with a thin felt-like material to protect the PV. It also absobs any juice that might leak and is easily wiped dry. Maybe you could find the fabric somewhere like JoAnn's Fabrics and lightly glue it in place.

It could also be gathered in sections to allow room for battery, carts and attys so they stay in place and don't roll around. I don't know what kind of glue would be best to use though...maybe just hotglue.

Or...make a chipboard (thin cardboard) template and buckle it in places then cover with absorbent fabric.

HEY. Something wrong with old persons? JK

nothing wrong 'em, im just not down with their fashion choices in eye wear. its the $8 when i was wanting to spend $1.50 that i have the problem with.

The real reason for posting- the bookmooch link doesn't work. I was curious.

fixed (left out the "http://" i think)

its a book trading site: you list a bunch of books you have that you dont want and ppl request them from you. every book you give out you get a point which you then "spend" to request books from other members.

I have a few of them that I find useful for PV storage, thanks! :)

This was just what I was looking for. Thank you.

Your very welcome Tiger! :)

my local walmart, CVS, and HEB (texas based grocery chain) all do not cary this product :(
i had to spend $8 for some old-person-reading-glasses just to get a case to hold my 510

Try Dollartree or perhaps other "Dollar" stores the have the easiest & least expensive sanatizer container to mod. :)

Yes, but it probably will hold a 510 assembed with the new Mega battery, or perhaps even two; mine does. ;)

No, I'm in my 50's and don't feel that way... yet! ;)

I just bought this and did everything, and it fits perfectly.... except for the button on the bat. Any suggestions for this? You cant really get it in there without potentially damaging the button and its darn near impossible to get out.

Love the idea though. I need one!!!

I don't have a manual (just auto 901) but how close is it to fitting? I ask because you might be able to dremel the inside a little wider (the plastic is actually suprisingly thick). If you only need a little more width I'd suggest dremeling the inside diameter slightly larger (you wouldn't need to go all the way down to the bottom, just down past where the button rests).

Just a thought.....

yes dont use cvs one. my 510 doesnt fit. really close difference tho. might want to buy a fatter one.

If the button on a 510 manual is the issue; a poster left the above contribution to the thread. :)

I believe this may be fixable by removing the inner ring to allow for the 510 manual button. A forum member rhoneil did this on some he purchased from 7-11, follow the thread a few posts from here, as its a similar problem to yours, so your purchase won't be in vane. :)

It's probably not the Walgreens or Dollartree model unless they have changed it, sorry if they did.

Please let us know, thanks! :)

As Stehle wrote, removing the inner ring does enlarge the opening (though not the actual tube). Since I don't have a manual I don't know if it's just the opening that's the problem but I do know that removing the inner ring is a piece of cake. I did it to mine b/c I took off the ashcap (LED cover) and replaced it with a black rubber "cart condom?" to really minimize/hide the LED light for stealth vaping. The condom I used goes over the outside of the 901 and thus made the end wider by about 3/32" and it fits easily with a little room to spare.

Don't throw away what you've got, it's probably modifiable to fit! Also, different stores carry different sanitizer sprays and each have pros/cons (I personally like the ones with the peal-off label as they're very easy to make generic).
