I certainly hope they eventually come out of it ok, and hopefully they can hold on long enough. I hate to see good suppliers go down. My two Poldis are working great, and except for the plastic switch housing, I can completely re-build one Poldi if it were necessary, which reminds me, I need to give each one a good loving cleaning. :)

I'm hovering over a Miriam WTH classic for $139.99 right now. It's on the VaporAuthority site. I want it, but I'm hesitating to pull the trigger, I don't know why. I wanted the Aname Classic, but they are sold out of that. So should I just do it? They say it's an authentic, looks good, anyone else dealt with them?

I went to MM's site to check to see if VA was a legit re-seller, but the page is down for maintenance. They certainly look legit to me. You could e-mail Miriam and find out, don't know how long the response time will be tho.

I wrote them asking if that Miriam WTH is an 18650, which is all I use. Just want to be sure. I'll prolly pull the trigger on it today, if their site comes back up. Anyway, here's what they have on VaporAuthority and they are saying right up front in no uncertain terms that it's authentic.

Genuine Poldiac Classic™ by MMVapors - Mechanical Mod

I just tried to call VaporAuthority at the number on their site, and strangely I got nothing but my own voice echoing back at me. Very weird! It also took a couple days for them to get back to me in email. Reluctance is creeping in....

Ah, that would have something to do with it I guess, but I still don't understand why when I call I get my own voice echoing back at me, instead of a recording.

Yeah, I don't know why the phone is doing that either. Maybe someone left it disconnected or something.

Nice! I would have been tempted on the Aname if it was in stock. I have the UMA and thought the Aname would pair w/ it nicely.

Well they do have the Aname Sleek, which I didn't buy because I already have one, and also because they want a lot more for it, $179.99. They say that's because of MMV's pricing, but I don't know about that. I got my Aname Sleek from MMV after they went on sale for $82.80. I also have the Uma Classic, and the Freddy Classic.

If you do go for the Aname Sleek you will not be disappointed. I originally wanted the Classic, but once I had the Sleek in my hands I was in love with it. vaping on it right now :)

Okay, I got my Poldiac Miriam WTH from VaporAuthority, and find myself unhappy with it. I find that the button often does not work and the mod often does not fire, or fires quite weakly. I have to hunt around on the button with my thumb to get it to fire at all most of the time. This causes me to wonder if it's a genuine MMV Poldiac. It does not have the black plastic part in the button section, but a white plastic part. I've had the button apart several times now, cleaning the parts, putting in a new contact rod, and switching the contact screws around, and even replaced the button with a spare I had, but it's not helped at all. So now I'm wondering if I got sold a clone. Does this look like the real thing? What about the serial number? Everything looks genuine to me but the internal plastic button part, and I'm wondering about that serial number. Seems a bit high to me, and the poor performance isn't what I've come to expect of MMV.
