I just found a Poldiac Aname Classic on a site, but it's in a language I can't read or even identify. Italian? I can't tell.

An Aname Sleek for $119. Dude! You will not do better. I have one and it's my very favorite Poldiac, and Poldiacs are all I will bother to use.
It's not going to be easy, I want that Aname Classic, and it does not seem to be available anywhere.
Ah, ok, the one you found, you already have. The one in Europe for 145 euros, would be $109.00 + the shipping, so the one for $119.00 ain't that bad a deal.
Yes, but ya know, I would not feel the least bit bad about having two Aname Sleeks.... Just thinking out loud here....
Vas would know better than I, but I think one has slots on the "shirt" that covers the switch housing, and the other doesn't.

The only real difference between the two is the long oval ended slots cut into the divisions between the sections. The Classic has them, the Sleek does not. I tried to post a pic of them but Photobucket has taken to failing all my uploads because I have an ad blocker running, and they want to shove their ads in my face. I'm just going to have to find an new photo hosting site. I'm NOT going to put up with ads making the internet completely unusable for me and vastly increased spam in my inbox.
Anyway, for some reason the Sleek is sold for more than the Classic by Vapor Authority even though it requires much less machining to produce! Asked why Joe S. of Vapor Authority says:
"I asked our purchaser about the price difference and he said that the button, contacts, pin etc are the same. The price is based on MMV pricing and due to the design and finish of the mod..
"
Well excuse me, but the design is the same, the finish is the same, the only difference is LESS MACHINING!
Somehow I think Joe S. is being less than honest with me.

Ah, they have an Uma in Sleek. I might just go for that... I've not yet contacted them to see if they still have Poldiacs, so I caution you to do that before anything else. Due diligence, and also make sure via MMV they are in fact and authorized reseller, not a clone dealer.
The shirt (top sleeve) on the original classics was not slotted. The slotted option came along later when concern came about in the mech world about venting for a batt gone bad.
On the 'sleek' variation, the rings separating the shirt/pants are smooth. On the 'classic' the rings have a 'oval design' around them. A small difference, but a difference none-the-less.
edit: oops, this was already answered.
My Aname Sleek does have the slots on the shirt. On the other hand, my Miriam WTH does not, and it's a Classic model.

(Added the polished SS bottom cap. Now it alternates polished SS/Brass from top to bottom)

I got it a couple months ago @ Synergy Vapor. They have several different models in stock. Unfortunately, the Aname 18650 is no longer in stock
Should have gotten more Poldiacs when I had the chance.
