I really really want to order a Poldiac, but it seems that all the combos I would want are out of stock.

Man, I'm torn!
Not sure which one to get....I really like the look of the Aname, but I worry that it will be tough to keep the smaller brass bits shiny, especially the button.
On the other hand, I love the look of the UMA (probably easier to keep the larger brass bits shiny) and could go all SS with a second set of pants and shirt.
Decisions, decisions.....
One question: If I order any 18650 version, I can convert that to 18500 or 18350 by just getting new pants, right?

I think you need the different sized battery tubes and the pants. The pants are just a decorative sleeve that you can change the appearance with.
This is correct. At first I thought it was just the pants that's needed to upgrade the battery. It makes sense why they call it pants haha
Both are really good choices! I actually got the UMA a couple days ago when they restocked. It'll definitely be hard to keep shiny. Remember brass gets oxidized especially with our hand around it all the time. If your worried about that, just go with the polished ss or get satin. I'm sure you'll love either one.
I wouldn't wait too long to order tho. You never know when they'll sell out. I'm glad I pulled the trigger on the UMA when I saw it cuz a few hours later it was gone. I hear that they re stock pretty often but like I said, you never know.

The UMA is gorgeous even when messy, because of the patina. It's only a bit not so pretty when it's not patina'd enough yet. Give it time, trust me. It only takes a second to shine it back up too. Right now, mine is awesome!!! I don't even recognize that it's not perfect shiny anymore... not unless I exchange tubes/sizes. (I have all 3 tube sizes) Wow. Night and day difference! Yet I love both looks. One of these days I'm going to buy an extra set of clothes so I can keep one set super shiny and the other set super patina'd.
