Oh good, the first impression, visual, I had wasn't off then and it was a similar problem that I had. Thanks for clarifying for me. My DID's did finally work though, unlike yours. Maybe there is a burr on your DID itself?
Snail mail is only a few bucks, but several weeks. I wouldn't want to be without mine that long either, especially if a "fix" comes along that was not tried yet... and there it is in transient... :(
DHS is extremely fast, but expensive. I see why you hesitate. I see why the company hesitates too. That could get very very expensive.
I wish Jim had a repair shop person here in the States, complete with all the extra parts we may ever need for all the products ever purchased. There's been talk about one starting up.. well, a resale shop, not a repair shop or a tinker shop.

<off to insert shop vibes into the universe>

10% of people are like you. Glad you learned more about your product It's a shame you have to try to damage reputation before you do. Maybe a life lesson.

Tony

If that's what you took from my posts, then I don't think there's any helping you. You are the only person I've talked to during this whole thing that I'm mad at. Alas, I can't teach you to read over the internet.

To the people who've been nice. This is the last I'm going to say to him. He's going on my ignore list, and I'll try not to let my feelings about him bleed over towards the Poldiac or to you.

That's pretty sweet bro! It will definitely remove the fear factor of loosing your baby doing 75mph down the Hwy.

I'm thinking of more of a lanyard holster kinda of thingymajober. I definitely want it to cover/wrap the entire mod like yours does but keep the top open so I can just grab it and take a hit.

Congrats bro, that is nice!

I know what you mean. One of the things I wanted was for it to be "1 hand accessible". The brass stud is designed to open easily with 1 hand and when riding in nice weather I can just tuck the flap behind it so it stays open. Should ship tomorrow, when I get it I'll snap some shots on my bike so you can see how it fits.

Diver + Loki. Loving the small form factor. I might even want to cut the Diver down a bit for a even smaller package. Thoughts?

Hey need some thoughts guys. I just did a full cleaning on my UMA and now the pants are loose  ...meaning the pants are sliding freely around the battery tube. Its only the 18650 that I cleaned that's loose. My 18350 tube/pants (uncleaned) are still tight, so I know it's not a pin-adjustment issue. Is there some sort of "grease" under the pants that I washed off?

I already know Tony's response...I'm just a noob and shouldn't be complaining about the greatest mechanical device ever invented.

Anyone else's input I'll gladly take.

Try turning the brass ring in more. The one inside holding switch assembly in place. It could be keeping the batt tube from screwing in far enough. I just cleaned my UMA too, those Cape Cod Cloths rock!

Thats the issue. Sounds like a defect. For $200 bucks I shouldn't have to put it together correctly. Probably ended up with extra parts too. :)

Just ordered my second one. Have a Miriam WTH 500 and just orderd an Aname 350.
Love the performance, design and finish. Only slight negative is that the button is slightly offset on mine. Works like a charm tho :)
Use the AC9 with my Miriam which gives it a really nice hybrid look.

That is one of my favorite combinations AC9/Poldiac. AC9s are back in stock btw. Can you disassemble your button and recenter it?

Yeah it's a lovely combo. The AC9 is the exact same finish as the MiriamWTH. I haven't tried it yet as it doesn't really affect the button performance. Just a slight bigger gap under the button than on top. I'll give it a go tho :)
