Just my personal opinion :)

Now don't take yourselves too seriously ;)

Bahahahahah,

stew-pid noob, nahh. that's Tony's stick (totally passed the buck:D).

But no, on the real. Can't stand it when things get too intense on the inter-webs. Like we all realize we are being total internet warriors right now... right? I can't help it, when things start to reach nerd status deff-con-five; I lash out and post ridiculousness.

Like don't harsh my vape Vibe! :p

Prob some smiley faces or something would have made my tone more clear and palatable. Did not mean for it to come off as an attack, more so just making fun of ourselves, IDK.

Anyways....

You know me long enough.i call like it is.
Tony

LOL! You call it the way you see it (not to be confused with other's reality). Unfortunately, newer family members don't realize you always try to help folks because you just cut right to the quick and speak with a barbed tongue.

Remember this? Where's Tony:

Exactly,

And 100% honest truth, my comment was not directed at what his name.

Just a general comment on the complexity of the mod and how non-mechanically inclined people can have some issues with it.

Having been there myself, why do you think I have a 510 spec die.. I had a DID that wouldn't thread onto a Super-T P+18350. I did not run a muck in the forums, simply sent Super-T my top cap, when they sent it back it still didn't fit, so Then MMV sent me a new bottom connector, right away I might add and for free... It still didn't fit. So I re-cut the thread on the DID, per Davids advice.

That's why I jumped on a three tube Poldy set, I was pretty sure a DID would fit on it.. What was the issue with the threading, in my case, who knows and who cares.

To boot trying to help new members in this forum w/ clocking issues, ect. and getting sassed back "NO your not reading my post"... lol :D Like I don't know what I'm talking about..

I'm here to have fun! Talk about how awesome this mod is and trade tips and tricks. That's it:p:p

This is a FAN thread right, I am def a FAN!! Don't care if the Poldy isn't LE, I'm guessing s/n are or will be in the 3000's soon.

Does a Chi come with a magnetic switch or silver plated contacts?????

Kudos McGyver ;)

At the end of the day, the MMV family defines itself as a community of practice:

"Communities of practice are formed by people who engage in a process of collective learning in a shared domain of human endeavor: a tribe learning to survive, a band of artists seeking new forms of expression, a group of engineers working on similar problems, a clique of pupils defining their identity in the school, a network of surgeons exploring novel techniques, a gathering of first-time managers helping each other cope. In a nutshell:

Communities of practice are groups of people who share a concern or a passion for something they do and learn how to do it better as they interact regularly."

IMHO, it's a lot more fun when we're supportive (even sarcastic/playful) but not at the expense of others misfortune or discomfort...

Personally I'm a big fan of sarcasm. Giving it as well as receiving it. It's easy for me to forget that some people have thinner skin or just don't enjoy that type of humor.

Keep in mind, sometimes it's not thin skin at all. Some times people are genuinely frustrated and trying to find a solution (think about a time when you were really expecting great things and were disappointed for whatever reason...). I guess in the whole when "giving expect to receive" thing it really only applies if someone is giving sarcasm. If not, getting sarcasm feels a lot like insult instead of good play...

Yeah, I just got satin clothes for my "Uma" (sorry) and really like the looks. Could just be because it's a change, but I think I really prefer the satin over the brass.

Anyway, my shiny DID looks pretty good atop, but I can't stop thinking that the satin DID would look just a bit better (and those pics confirm it). :)

Just got my Poldiac and Did!
However, the poldiac seems to get a little dirty. I am assuming its the brass getting stained and all.

How do you guys keep your poldiac all shiny and sparkly? :)

Any advice would be appreciated.

I don't. The polished shirt and pants on my Aname stay nice on their own. The brass on my Belial and the trim on the Aname are getting a nice patina, which I prefer over polished brass. I love the look of aged brass.
