Hey DNME,

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

DID on a Poldiac is one of my favorite combos. I rock a DID short like 90% of the time.

The Poldiac can be quite a complex mod, hahah there's so many parts; but theres a reason I'm always holding one.

Today I went outside the norm for a little drip action at work.

hope your new addition serves you well.

I got my UMA/DiD combo in a trade and it came with this sweet brass drip tip. I can't find them on mmv site. Anybody know where to get them? I'd be interested in a couple of copper ones too.

Hey there everyone! I got my hands on a poldiac recently and have not been able to put it down. Im just curious, what do you guys use to clean the contacts when they get all tarnished and what not? I'm a little hesitant to use anything other than water atm..

Thanks for the advice and if there's any other resources you guys could point me towards for maintenance on this bad boy please don't hesitate!

Two cents. Almost tobacco free for a year! One mechanical mod to last; top switch, kickable, and user friendly to service. I don't fret over the cost, when spending just as much for her analogs in a short time.

So true, if I would have got into a Poldi sooner (time machine status) would have saved me some serious $$$$

Unfortunately the vs. literally burning the cash argument has left the building for me... but it can def be cheaper then smoking.

Pretty much, soft cloth... same as Super-T's contacts.

There are some serious nuggets of good info in this thread, but you might want to skip the last couple pages... Especially those couple of posts where I make and ... out of myself :/

As long as I can meet the mailman and hide the packaging my default answer to the question "is that new?" is "I've had it a while..." Could mean 5 minutes, could mean 5 months. To her it all looks alike and who's to say what "a while" actually means :p

Kinda like when I ask my wife "are those new shoes honey?"

I am a HUGE Poldiac fan. At the moment, I have a Cloud Wizard, Freddy, and UMA. I have a Temon as well. I use the standard DID on my babies. My next mod will be MiriamWTH. I actually just became friends with MiriamWTH, and I can say that she is one of the most genuine, sweetest people that I have ever met. I am so glad that I chose MMVapors for my mods of choice.
