Congrats Ratman!

You rockin duals on that Nimbus? Best vapor and flavor I've ever had is dual micro coils on my Nimbus at 1.0 ohm with cotton wick - pure vape bliss.

LoL, small world as that is the EXACT setup i have going on it. Funny thing about the nimbus tho. I ordered a cheap chimbus with a juice order a couple weeks ago, figured what the heck. It was unvapale as delivered but I spent about an hour in the garage modding it and it actually kicks the Nimbus' but now with only a single coil. Ugly hunk of steel tho.

On topic, I am really liking the button on the Poldiac but the sharp edges of the button cut out of the shirt are working my thumb over. going to have to try to smooth it out a little but do not want to mess it up.

Yeah, I found that some of the Satin pieces that I got were sharp as well. I noticed that the Polished and Brass pieces that I got were much smoother, so they were much more comfortable to handle.

As a temporary workaround, you could try using it without the Shirt. In my experience, that’s a much more comfortable experience than pushing the button through a Satin Shirt, with large fingers.

But, don’t forget to put the Shirt back on before you put the Poldiac in your pocket, bag, etc.; the Shirt is the locking mechanism for the device.

I just pulled the shirt off and took some rolled up 800 sandpaper and spun it in the opening at an angle, working it all the way around. Didn't leave a mark but smoothed the edges just enough to keep it from cutting into my thumb or finger. Worked perfectly.

That’s good to hear! I hope that you enjoy it. :vapor:

Yup, got a Chimbus too. :)

Mine didn't require much, I just drilled out the air holes and it's working like a champ - but, man is it ugly!

Yeah, some of those colours sound really cool! Although, I didn’t recognize a lot of the chemical names on that site, so I’d want to learn more about the safe handling of those chemicals, before I started messing with them.

BTW, my first Poldiac was the UMA version. I didn’t, however, keep it that way for very long; I changed the pants to polished SS shortly after I got it. IMO, that configuration looks almost as good as the UMA, but requires less maintenance to keep it shiny.

You have good taste in Poldiacs! :thumb:
As do you. :)

Got a new hat to go with the new Poldiac. Awesome combo! Older version DID i believe (does not have the MM symbol on the cap) but perfect condition and vaping beautifully!

Yeah, I felt the same way. I could only watch a couple minutes of it, before it became too annoying.
Yeah, it gets OK for a little while........ then he goes back to it.

There is another person's video that is informative and less annoying.

 You and Hoey both live in Melbourne

So anyone running their bottom button contact in top button mode, as suggested by Mr. Heals?

I was kinda of interested as I have heard Poldi's "hit even harder", if thats possible lol, in bottom button mode. But after a bit of fiddling I was still getting gap between switch housing and top cap... So I just kinda forgot about it.
