If I make a piece of corn beef and I am not home, I don't get any. When Sonny was a teen, I had set the crock pot and left for work. When I got home there was only cabbage in the crock. Sonny was pretty ashamed of himself, he had kept lifting the lid and taking out a taste, it didn't take long before he ate all the beef without realizing it.

Well we didn't go out to eat. Hubby's friends sick again. So we did half of the rout today and will do the Reading part tomorrow. Plus brother and his women's Dr. was running an hour and a half behind.

Today is mop the floors, as Mr. V and Victor tracked in a mess last night. Other than that, I think I'll start planning my garden. I'm trying again this year, I think there might be enough sun in the front yard.

Bah, the grill needs a part. Cooking indoors tonight and running to the city tomorrow. Our hardware store closed, so now it's 25 miles for anything that they don't carry at the gas station. grrrrr.
