Good morning. So against my better judgement we got a Keurig. Since I'm not working thought it would be a good Idea. Wrong. Hubby and I finally found something we agree on WE HATE IT.:lol: We even got the brand of coffee we use. Comes out strong and burnt tasting no matter what setting or cup size. Filling my own makes it drinkable but defeats the purpose of just being able to drop in a pod. We'll play with it a couple weeks. But for sure we'll have to fill our own.:lol: 30 day no questions ask return. This is the new one they just launched. it will take any pod.

This is what I have: https://smile.amazon.com/BLACK-DECK...rds=black+and+decker+brew+and+go+coffee+maker

It makes one cup at a time, comes with a permanent filter, or you can use paper filters (the permanent one does allow a LITTLE fine grounds through). I don't care for their travel mug, so I have a glass mug that fits under the spout perfectly.

My first one lasted over 10 years, then started leaking. But at just a bit over $20, it was painless to replace it! :)

The only coffee maker I liked better was my Bunn, but I shouldn't be drinking that much coffee every day. So I now make 2 cups in the morning in this little guy.

Feeling extremely thankful here, many in this area are without power still. Mine only went out for a bit over an hour Friday evening. Ironically, right after Ian texted me to ask if I had power. o_O His was out until after I got home from work on Saturday afternoon, luckily his wood stove kept them warm.

It was strange going in and coming home from work. Many stoplights had no power, no police in sight, yet everyone took turns and there was less backup than when the lights worked!

Power blinked 2x our internet is always intermittent. Good old infinity.
Well they set me and one other guy in a room for 4 hours to read a 1 inch thick Manuel. Then riding around 3 hours shadowing the regular. The reading was basically the same as the state stuff. Board stiff. Wednesday is movie day. Chances are I've seen them before also. We shall see.
