Just got done with a little under 6 pounds of fudge.2 pans and the rest I played with my molds. Never tried fudge in molds before fingers crossed it works.

Hmm, you need my address??

Checked the pickled beet egg juice not sour enough so adjusted that. Made me smile thinking of my Grams she always said their making the vinegar weaker.:lol:

Sadly, my store was out of eggs this trip. No biggie, I have 6 pickling and 6 ready for whatever! Managed to score some nice chicken breasts though! :)

Stoopid stuff, putting pasta away in the cabinet, I picked up a half full box of angel hair to fit the others in. The freaking bottom came open and rained half of what was there onto the floor. :nah: If I still had big dogs, it would have been cleaned up immediately. Not so with Chihuahuas

Edit to add: It scared them!

HANOVER BALD EAGLES FAILED. So sad

  • February 18, 2020 - Second Egg Laid @ 6:11pm EST (Watch Clip) *The appearance of the second egg did not look "normal". After laying the second egg, it appeared as though Liberty tried to roll the new egg, it broke and she ate the contents. The second egg wasn't seen on the cameras since this incident.

This looks like an interesting pie. Guess who doesn't have sugar. Grrr
AMISH OATMEAL PIE
1 1/4 cups brown sugar, packed
3/4 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar
3 large eggs, beaten
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 unbaked pie shell

Preheat oven to 350º F and line a pie dish with unbaked pie crust.
In a large bowl, stir together brown sugar, oats, sugar and salt, then stir in
milk, beaten eggs, butter and vanilla extract. Continue stirring until fully
combined.
Pour mixture into pie shell, then place in oven.
Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until pie is cooked through.
Remove from oven and let cool 10-15 minutes, then serve with ice cream or
whipped cream.
