Got the second one done. Now I'm only 2 behind. Maybe tomorrow.

So far I emptied out my baking cabinet and am re-organizing it as I put it all back. I had cupcake papers that no longer have a pan, stuff like that can hit the trash to make more room. Cookie cutters are becoming an issue over here. They are hogging the entire top shelf, and I only have 4 shelves. It's a 24" upper cabinet, so no room for excess. What ever possessed me to start this project is beyond me.

Good afternoon. Mr. V and I both think we left our motivation over at the shop when we left last night. Neither of us has accomplished a thing yet today except drink coffee. We're debating if we need to do something useful, or take a nap.

First quilt on the new machine turned out spectacular, we did a happy dance when it finished. I'll take it's picture when it's binding is on, right now it's still pinned to the frame.

Still not done with that stoopid cabinet cleaning thing. ugh.

Good hot humid morning. Gertie's trainers coming to the shack this morning. 1st of the 6 follow up appointments. She wants to see how Gertie and Marcie act when together. Also, she will see how much I've slacked with the walking training. I have been walking her around the yard but that's not that much. She did say not to rush it. My only defense is the heat and humidity. Which makes it verry hard for breathing.

Good morning. Not much for plans, have laundry to do and we're out of bread.
Speaking of being out of stuff. Bread, buns, milk and eggs. I dont like the price of any of these items. But will have to bite the bullet and get them.:lol:

Training went well, I think. We started with how to greet company. Keeping the beagle girl quiet. Suggest throwing a hand full of treats into her. Next is keeping Gertie behind me and not letting her streach out the door. buy blocking her with my legs or throwing her treats behind me. Next was find focus and walking we did ok on those. but I need to say good girl more and give more treats seems I'm stingy in those areas. Then I had a choice between working on 1 of 3 things. Working on Gertie and Marcie, Walking outside of the yard or in and out of the car. I went with the car because Gertie has 2 appointments 10th and 20th. Well, that didn't go well. The trainer had me start the car, so the ac was on. Car running was a no as far as Gertie was concerned, but we proceeded. I get in the back seat and Gertie jumped right in but right back out. Since I wouldn't always have someone to drive us. We went a more forceful route. A tug on the leash to get her in then hook her up to the seat belt and shut the door. She calmed down pretty fast. We did this several times. To do this once a day or more. All in all, hands on and very informative and productive hour.
