Just got off the phone with Sonny. Told him about the lot. He and DIL are coming up for the weekend, we'll fire up the pizza oven. Anywho, we're going over to the lot to do some snooping.

I think I'm a zoo attraction. Whatever room that I'm in, there are at least 3 hummingbirds hovering in the windows watching me. They always hang out around me when I'm outside, but this is new over the past few days.

Good late morning. Tired all the appointments (human and girls) and shack cleaning have me wore out. Soo I'm taking a lazy day.

TSC is having chick days. Called my local TSC they dont have them because were in the Avin bubble. But Lebanon store has them. They even have the breed I'm thinking about. Could be a sign to get some. Trying to decide. Do hate the 3.75 a dozen price tag and having to go to the store.

Good afternoon. I refused to to to TSC til chick days is over or I'll come home with ducks. And they would have to be inside at night, so nope.

Cleaning bedrooms today, already pooped.

I win, bedrooms are acceptable. Better Homes & Gardens will not be coming for a photo shoot so they are good enough.

Mr. V drove past the lot on his way to work. Firepit is smoldering, there is a newer flatbed trailer backed in. Looks like he's going to be taking his stuff. *fingers crossed*

Leftover chicken vegtable soup and hopefully chocolate cake. We ate too much spaghetti last night.

Last bowl of beef veggie soup for me, Mr. V is not home. I should make a chocolate cake for the weekend, now that you mentioned it. My hips do not thank you.

I poped a few pills and went at it slow but still every little thing done helps. Finaly setting up the new pump and filter. Went fairly well but I have to leaks at the clamps. Of course, they're outside the pool. Not sure how tight I can go without breaking the plastic, we shall see. Nice big powerfull pump I have it going into the new filter and into the old filter and then into the pool. Its flowing out the 2 pipes in the old filter and a little out the overflow. So, thinking a larger out flow in the old filter.

Chicks survived the night. Had plugged in the brooder. (heat plate thing on legs) At 11:30 3 were under it 1 sleeping in the feed dish.

Hobbling though my day, getting stuff done.

I made German chocolate cupcakes, pre-cooked the bacon and chicken for tomorrow's chicken bacon ranch pizza. Will do sausage after I sit a bit, so if someone wants regular pizza it's done. It's easier on me to prep everything but dough and tomatoes the day before.

Mr. V took some of the cupcakes to work, the guys will be thrilled.

Wish I could have ducks, we discussed it again this morning and nope. We're liking the coming and going as we please right now.

Officially pooped over here. All baking, cooking, and dishes are done. I do need to scrub the stovetop, but it's not going anywhere so it can wait a bit.

Raining here all day so far, hopefully it doesn't rain tomorrow so we can be outside.

Good super nice cool morning. Took advantage of the coolness and suited Gertie up for some walking training. Next up in the car training.
