Good morning!

Last night was find a leftover night, I didn't cook anything. Not sure what I'm taking out of the freezer for tonight. I really, really need to sit down with that cookbook for awhile.

Hope the training is going well Drott. :)

Cheese steaks sound great Drott! I haven't had one in quite a while.

Or maybe a Capriotti's Capistrami sandwich (pastrami grilled like a cheese steak with Reuben stuff - Russian dressing, sauerkraut and Swiss cheese- on a hoagie roll) Do you have any of their shops near you Drott?? We have 3 around here.

Homemade Irish Cream
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 14 oz. (1 can) Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 2/3 cup. Irish Whiskey
  • 2 teaspoons Instant Coffee Granules or Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Hershey's Chocolate Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon Almond Extract
Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender or use an immersion blender for 30 seconds. You don't want to blend for too long or whipped cream may form :) If you do get a bit of cream on top, just sift though a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth.
  2. Bottle in a tightly sealed container and refrigerate.
  3. Shake before using.
  4. Will keep for up to 2 months.
