Good afternoon! Humid, thunderstorms, and still hot. The pool is 74 right now, still a bit chilly. It needs another bag of salt so we had to run to walletmart and get one. We grabbed two, just in case. 4 more degrees and I'm in.

At the campground there is a swimming hole and the kids swim all day. At night the adults take it over. The younger ones skinny dip. Us older folks now chunky dunk or fatty float in shorts and a t-shirt. Alcohol is always involved.

When we filled from the well our pool was in the low 40's, so your neighbors have a bit of a wait.

I am so thankful that Andy was here this weekend and got my A/C in the window for me!! :thumb: I left it running for the furkids this morning, and it wasn't to bad when I got home.

Oh, so cute - the reason Andy was here is because he bought a car! He got an older Mazda Miata. I have to laugh, because he is 6'4" and seeing him in this tiny car... But he is happy with it, so that's what counts! :)

74 the pools ready.
That's actually still pretty cold. It's good for a quick dip to cool off, but you can't stay in long. IF the weather cooperates hopefully I can jump in for a bit tomorrow.

Victor has to be at the clinic at 8:15 tomorrow morning. He's going to be a little crabby having to leave the house without breakfast. :(

Poor Victor. Hoping for the best and a speedy recovery.

House dog on the move
Thanks. While they've got him down they are removing a lump on his tail, and if possible some work in his mouth. Boxers get overgrown gums and they sometimes need to be cut/stitched back. He has two teeth that need it. Poor old guy is going to hurt on both ends. I'm going to hurt in the checkbook.

Leftover ribs.

Victor is home and doing great. Except for the cone. He has a huge blue soft cone on his head, which he thinks keeps him from moving or laying down. So he sits in one spot with his big pansy head hanging. Right now he's standing next to me, big cone facing downwards. It's going to be a long 10 days.
