Seafood sounds delicious. No, they're not the same as chops. I think we're going to try grilling them and see what happens. Worst case, I pull the meat off the bones for Victor. He's feeling awful, there's tons of swelling. :(
Aww, poor Victor! :(

Tell me about it their always so big. Hubby doesn't like it but I usually only make one and cut a small piece off for me. I do the same with the steaks. I tell Hubby he doesn't need a whole lb . I'm not a big meat eater.:lol: Give me vegies.
Ditto. I have enough left of mine from last night for Mr. V's dinner. I'll have veggies.

And good afternoon, today is work on the pond day. Never a dull moment around here. We still need to mow down the backyard, it's up to my knees where there aren't paths. None of it is grass, that won't grow back there, it's too wooded.

Yard work done yesterday and grrrr store run complete for the week.

We bought a whole bunch of celery, cabbage, onions, and frozen veggies and beef broth and a couple cans of tomatoes. Mrs Punkin is making a huge crock pot of vegetable soup. I know it would be better to use fresh vegetables and fresh tomatoes with some homemade beef stock BUT hey, I'm not picky... :)

Oh, we also bought some extra eggs, vinegar, and red beets for some pickled eggs. They should be good to eat in a couple of days...

I made salmon patties, fried taters and spinach for dinner.

Victor is feeling good, just still all puffy and full of stitches still. The old guy is taking pretty long to heal up. Getting old stinks, even for a dog.

After 1 1/2 hours at the DMV we left with plates and registration. After the first hour, I finally told her to give me back my paperwork and I just wouldn't register it in WI. That did get her on the phone to a superior who told her that I was right, and to do the registration. Good grief.

Army son and his boys are coming over to the campground for the weekend, I'm waiting to see if Sonny and his wife are coming to see them. I'm having a make your own pizza party Saturday, it should be a good time. Victor will lay under table near the boys, waiting for food to fall off their plates.

I hope the weather liars are wrong again. They are forecasting over a week long temps in the 90s starting on Saturday. Friday is in the upper 80s and then the heat wave with little to no rain for an additional week. The good news is they are usually WRONG! :)
