Was going to make chicken pie. But to lazy to make crust soo going to have it over ff.
That was my plan too. Instead I made Mr. V throw burgers on the grill. Maybe my motivation to roll out crust will appear tomorrow.

And... another experiment in the Instant Pot! Scrambled and drained some ground beef, added a diced onion and a can of chicken broth, on high pressure for about 20 min. Will add a bag of frozen Broccoli, Cauliflower & Carrots, and a cup of rice, and cook for another 10-12 min.

How did it turn out?

Good morning to you too!
I'm not going to like the part about S*OW...
Mrs Punkin is starting to ask questions about a Subaru Crosstrek. I think the threat of SN*W has made her think the Mazda 3 she currently has might now be the best for Winter. :) Do you like yours better than the Outback?

Ughhh! Going into work this morning was easy peasy! Clear as a bell, just a bit chilly.

Coming home was another matter entirely. It usually takes me about an hour to get home, with traffic and all that. Today was 2 1/ 2 hours! The absolute worst part was the first 2-3 miles after leaving the parking lot, just bumper to bumper crawl along! After that, it wasn't so bad, since the first part was the first worrisome hill on the way home. There were SEVERAL vehicles off to the side (for the most part, one was partly in the lane of travel), but thankfully NO other drivers going up that hill!

The second worrisome hill was no problem, since it had started to rain by that point and the road was fairly clear. I did choose to pass a Jeep (seriously?) by going into the right lane because they were only doing like 20 in a 45, the road was WET, not snowy or icy.

Of course the furkids were starving to death by that point! :?:

No cooking tonight, grabbed a Wawa hot turkey sammich :)

I'm not liking the weather liars today. They said we were supposed to get a "coating to an inch." I never even thought that it might be time to transfer the sn*w blower from the backyard shed into the garage. Well, lets just say we got a h*ll of a lot more than a coating in our area so I know what I have to do today. It's good we have 3 shovels for the two of us, just in case someone wants to visit. :)

I didn't even get the MC put away yet let alone dig out the snow blower.:lol: So the snow was way early or I'm way behind.
