Good morning. Happy Thanksgiving. I'm thankful for everything I have and don't have. Thankful for the Posse For letting me vent and post Silly stupid things, With out getting to upset with me. HAPPY THANKSGIVING ALL.
Not this year. We decided to stay home. Maybe we will go for Christmas.

Mrs Punkin is making bacon wrapped turkey breast, stuffing, gravy, corn, graham cracker pudding, and pumpkin pie! She made the graham cracker pudding a couple of days ago so there is only half left. :)

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving!!

I agree with Drott, plus glad we are all still here and in touch!

Oh, and PIE!

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving!!!! Yes to all of the above! Pie is in the oven, deviled eggs are chilling, Mr. V is helping by cleaning the bathroom. I have a hunter out crawling around the woods after his deer. He came to the hut asking permission to track and of course I said yes. He looked scared, maybe it was my pajamas and uncombed hair.

Most of them at our store were whoppers. I saw one 12#, the close to 16 that I grabbed and the rest were close to 20 or over. I need to go sooner when there is still a decent selection. I'd grow my own but I know darn well it would end up being a pet.

I am officially more stuffed than a turkey. We just finished up the last load of dishes, the kids just left, time to collapse on the couch.

My cranberries turned out a bit too juicy, but they tasted good. This year I didn't forget anything, it's a first and not likely to happen again.

DIL's friend got a pig from the shelter, of course now we both need a pig. :D

Good morning everyone!

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We did and NO ear plugs required this year! :)

It might not be Wisconsin weather but it sure is cold this morning. Down in the teens. But good old PA weather, just give it a couple of days and it will be 50.

Had a great Turkey Day!! Ian bought himself a smoker for Christmas, so he smoked one turkey and roasted another. Way too many pies! There were 11 people for dinner (including 3 grandkids), and 6 pies and one strawberry shortcake! Ian and I both had to work today (and we both agreed the money makes the inconvenience easier to deal with :p), so nobody stayed out too late.

Oh, and the best news!! Apollo looks awesome!!! He is a little heavier than when I last saw him, but super energetic!! Not sure if I told y'all, but he'd been diagnosed with cancer. :( They went with chemo, and it seems to have worked VERY well!! He has a Vet appt Monday, so hopefully they agree!

I'm so happy that everyone had a good Thanksgiving!

Leftovers tonight, we survived it.

Hooray for Apollo!!! Please let us know what the vet thinks on Monday. *fingers crossed*

The electric fireplace in the living room died, again, as in 3rd time that the insert thing pooped out. We're thinking we may need to just go with propane this time. It's back up for the wood stove, and we do use it, I just don't want to keep replacing the stoopid electric part. grrrrr.

They came out perfect!! Room temp eggs, 1 c water, eggs pointy end down on the rack, 5 min at high pressure, 5 min natural release, then quick release, then 5 min in ice bath. Totally cooked with no green around the yolk!
There's one more good reason to have an IP, I had a bear of a time peeling eggs this week. I even bought store eggs so they weren't fresh laid. ack.

Good morning by the way.
