Good morning all. Deliveries today. Thinking of taking the weekend off. Need to get the basement organized having one of those companies come into haul it away. Can't Do it myself anymore so I'll bite the bullet and pay.

We cleaned out our basement a few years ago by setting stuff in the driveway and putting a FREE sign on it. Mrs Punkin said, "Nobody wants this stuff and it will be out there all week!" By the time we went back up stairs with more stuff most all of the first load was gone.
We even had a bicycle out there and two joggers came by. One kept jogging and the other one rode the bike home...

The majority of the stuff is broken tv stands and stuff I put out for the trash over the last 30 years That magically turned up in the basement. Refrigerator, floor model tv other big stuff that's still there from when the water was in the basement. Waited long enough For hubby to get motivated to help. He ll there's still stuff from when my brother lived down there 8 years ago. Soo tomorrow planning on Putting small stuff in trash bags to set out for the garbageman. My biggest problem will be getting it up the steps.
I have to admit I wasn't to motivated over the years either. But Need the space for the turtles. Decided it would be easer to clear the basement than to dig a hole big and deep enough to sink the two turtle tubs below the frost line. It will all be worth it when its done. Just don't want to procrastinate to much. Need it cleared and pools, filters, lights etc. setup by October. Sorry to bore you all with this.

Sold. Only thing I did but usually don't is take a check. They are a business only 5 miles from me for 10 years. So figured it was safe.
