Turtle move in day. I'll set up the filters this week. But they need to come in. Did bring the 3 tortoises in they were starting to go in to brumation. So them and the 2 African side necks are in boxes to warm up slowly. African side necks will go in the small pool. tortoises come up stairs. Big pool I'll do this afternoon, It's more involved to get them out. I know more info than ya wanted to hear.:lol:

Your turtles/torties are lucky Drott! I like hearing about them.

Mr. V is beyond angry, the part he needs for the 500 is obsolete according to Ford. What?????? It's an '05. They said it was from a partnership with Volvo, so now I'm tracking down all the Volvo dealers to see if they have the stoopid part. I hate to junk a perfectly good car for one darn part. UGH

We checked every auto part store and all Ford dealerships and online Ford places. Nada, no such part exists. It's Volvo or the junkyard.

We drain our pool down to below the lowest intake, so it's about 2/3 full. We use exercise balls to keep the cover out of the water.

I don't know what part you are looking for but how about a junk yard for the source of the part and NOT a final resting place for the car?

I wish we could punkin, but it's a filter for the AWD system. Ours is clogged and a junkyard one will be just as icky. Ford said IF we could find the entire new unit it would have the filter we need. The entire assembly is over $3200 and I can't even find that. All this over a freaking clogged filter. We'd try to just clean it, but taking it out destroys it, so we're stuck. The car can't even move as it is. UGH. Hopefully Volvo can help me tomorrow.

My day took a turn for the worse just after I posted. Victor went down, not sure if it was a seizure or a stroke, I just heard the loud crash behind me. His back legs wouldn't work when he did try to stand. He's up now, a bit wobbly and has no reverse, but he's up. *praying* I know he's old, but I'm not ready.

Good morning. Victor is on the mend. Amazing how resilient dogs can be. I'm still suffering from overdoing it last weekend, while he has a stroke and is almost as good as new in less than 24 hours. I'm counting my blessings for sure.

Haven't looked for a turkey yet.
