Not much happened today. TSC and stopped at GRRrr store For Mr. D's bread and cooking oil. Can't believe the price for a quart and it was store brand. Guess I shouldn't complain. It will last a long time. The last one was a little over a year. Air fryer uses hardly any.

That's a good idea Drott. We did that for my MIL. Of course we have forgotten to do it for ourselves, so I best get on it.

Ran over to the shop last night for pizza and beer. Had two beers so left my car there. Mr. V will drop me off to pick it up when he goes to work.

Just returned from the first in a series of 3 Euflexxa injection for my knee. Been getting them for years but this was the worst one yet. Wow. Nurse said I had swelling and fluid. My fault every 6 months turned into a year and a half.. 2 more to go.

We let ours in year-round the downstairs one is in the wall don't like it but didn't have a choice. The upstairs one gets used over the winter if only for the fan.

Advise needed over here. My big, honking, desktop is dying. It's still on Windows 8.1, which is no longer supported. I'm trying to decide between a laptop or a tablet. What do you guys use, and why?

I have an HP laptop, Pavillion. I like it a lot!

I'm the wrong guy to ask that question. I have all 3. I use the "big honking desktop" the most because I like the keyboard and large monitor. I use the tablet down stairs in the morning while enjoying my coffee. I don't use the laptop that much but would use it a lot if my desktop crapped out. We also use the desktop as a server for security camera video. No matter what you decide you can forget about Win 8.1.

My brain is starting to hurt reading reviews. I love my ancient desktop, and would love to just get an updated one, but need something more mobile for camping and stuff. If I tried to take "Goliath" with me Mr. V would have kittens.

I use 2 Hp laptops. 1 in the dining area is 17" screen, 1 in the living room Is 15" screen. Apple iPad in the car, I strongly suggest That whichever you chouse to get it with office preinstalled. I didn't and it was a bi tch to get up and running. My time was worth more than the extra charged for it pre-installed. Also, I buy direct from HP website. That way it doesn't get loaded with the garbage that box store ones have. Or there's Chrome book, which I hate but works well for Mr, D.
