Really nice day suns out and it's in the 60s at the shack. Mr. D has me worried though. Thinking another trip to Hershey is coming up again soon. He's been sleeping all day except when I wake him to give him his meds. Then he grumbles and goes back to sleep. This is either a good thing or bad. I wish I knew.

Mr. D's on his way. he said he wanted to get up but he's dead. So I ask if I should call the ambulance and to my amazement he said yes. Wasn't great though the first ambulance called for a triage unit. His blood pressure was high but the main concern was his sugar was over 500.Since he's been home this last time it's been in the high 200 to 300 range. I did talk to the family Dr. but he didn't seem to care. All I know is the Metformin 2x a day is not controlling it. Well going to feed the girls and head for hershey. Sorry for the long post but I need to vent talk to someone.

Good morning. Mr. D's doing well. They didnt say anything about the elevated sugar levels. Hed has an infection though. So, he had 2 iv's of 2 different antibiotics and one of magnesium. Fingers crossed for a shore stay. Phone work on the agenda to cancel his appointments for this week.

Good morning. Sun she's a shining. Getting estimates for a small sidewalk out back. Will make life easier getting Mr. D to from the car. The guy that was here yesterday was reasonable but gave 3 different prices. :lol:

So I told him to get me a written estimate. Hes a small outfit and I've heard good things about him. But I need something in writing. :lol:

We're trying for 3 estimates. Then I'll see what their timelines are. Was wondering if I should check on blacktop sidewalks also. This is at the back of the shack so only used by us. Looks don't really mater just functionality.

Finally got to Lancaster this morning and picked up my carry permit renewal. Then visited with Mr. D as I do every day. Their talking sending him to a rehabilitation this time. I'm hoping and praying it's a real one and not one of those in a nursing home.

Vent time. In January when I ask for a rehabilitation center for Mr. D. They said he was to advanced. He was only able to walk about 20 feet and had little upper body strength. Now their thinking he isn't good enough for a rehabilitation center. Because he can barely stand up and has less upper body strength I'm ....... Their suggesting pt in a nursing home. We all know how that goes.
