Turned out to be a nice day. No appointments, Pt or Ot. Besides my usual must do's, the new wheels for Mr. D's wheelchair arrived so I put them on and adjusted the breaks. It's a chair he picked up at goodwill years ago. Well every time he put the brakes on chunks of tire came off. Making a mess every were he goes.:lol:

What a day so far. Ot was here. She took vitals. She didn't like his low blood pressure or low heartbeat. She called the Dr. office and talked to a staff member. Then when she was getting ready to leave, she checked his vitals again and called an ambulance and the Dr's office again. The ambulance arrived fast. They were informed by Mr. D that he wasn't going to the hospital. They ask Mr. D if they could check him out anyway. Surprisingly he said ok. Soo they checked his blood pressure and hooked him up to a heart monitor. They were not happy with the results. They only thing that was normal was his sugar. So they kept trying to get him to go. Ask what I thought I said it's up to him. As bad as that sounds me saying that Mr. D Since this all started in January, he has said this is no way to live, and to my surprise had the Dr. sign a DNR at last week's appointment. Anyway, that's where I'm at. We'll just keep doing everything as normal and hope for the best. Just hoping we don't have a rerun of today tomorrow when the nurse comes. Thanks for letting me vent.
