Would you believe it costs almost ten times more to vape nic salts from a juul vs. the average refillable vape pod? These numbers haven't been massaged. Analysis assumes that a coil lasts 15mg and a nic salt bottle is 20 bucks.

I don't find that hard to believe at all. I won a pod in a contest here a more than a few months ago. It's refillable and has adjustable air flow. I've found myself using it more than I thought I would, and about the only thing I don't care for too much is the 1 ohm coil head available for it. I've found that it's better (IMO anyway) to remove the pod from the battery before doing the '5 click turn off' thing. I just don't care to hear it firing when I just want to turn off the thing..

I guess I shouldn't be surprised either. All you have to do divide the 30ml of a typical nic salt bottle by the 0.7ml capacity of Juul pod, and it is pretty clear you are paying a massive premium. You would have to absolutely tear through coils in order to make the prices at all equivalent.
