Hi my name is Warpigs, and I enjoy (Not addicted) to vaping.
Sorry, but I don't think that is the answer. Better juice, less negativity in the media and more social support...
There is if you consider the large amount of smokers who have tried vaping and didn't switch over. Obviously something is missing.
I hope version 3 has a puff limiter...

The point is to make it more similar to cigarettes not less.

An NJOY king is about as close to a cigarette as it gets, and sometimes only last as long as one...
Also made by big tobacco if I'm not mistaken?

Sounds a lot like what you can program on an evic
I don't understand the point. First of all, if a device like this came out, it wouldn't sell. It just wouldn't.
A smoker walks into a local B&M for an e cigarette. He looks left and sees one that limits how much he can use it. He looks right and sees one that does not limit how much he can use it. Which one does he buy?
The one on the right. It just doesn't make sense. I'm a psych major and I understand the dopamine deal, but I think the reason the e-cigarettes have been so successful to get people to quit (and they absolutely have) is the sharing of the hand to mouth motion that cigarettes have, among a lot of other similarities. The difference being that e-cigarettes are way safer.
For me, the limiter is battery life. I could drain an average ego battery in an hour, no sweat. This is what I started with, and if it had a "puff limiter" I would have bought something else in a heartbeat.
Marketing it is a different sort of problem with a few different solutions but based on what i'm hypothesising the e-cig would be much more addictive due to the extra dopamine, causing people who have the e-cig to prefer it after using it and having a higher satisfaction with new vapers.
Absolutely the hand to mouth action and all the other similarities have helped a ton but there's still a little way to go to fully satisfy some smokers. E-cigarettes being safer is a major selling point but doesn't have much to do with dopamine in users. Puff limiters are stupid and no where did i suggest that, the goal is to get it similar to cigarettes. You should understand this point if you're a psych major. It's not just the hand to mouth action.
Okay, I'm just now getting into this, but a puff limiter is litterally exactly what you suggested. I'm not trying to stir the pot here, but you said it would have a toke limiter involving led lights. I'm confused because now you're saying that puff limiters are stupid and pointless, when that is exactly what you suggested in the first place.
