ProVari 2.5 Zombie maybe used once or twice.
I got it for me ex back in April, 2014 as a backup, and it's been sitting in my display case for around a year.
No tank on it at all but when I press the fire button I get the E8 error message :(
E8 - Converter has detected a fault - If the voltage was set too high,
the converter can detect a fault because the amperage was being pushed past it's limit.

Nothing on it (tank or RBA).
Voltage is set a 3 volts.
I tried different batteries.
I'm guessing the Converter is bad.

What does it do with a tank and atty on it?

Yea I figured I would have to do that :(
I got 2 more that are over 3 years old, My dad's which it's the only one he has so it's been used Hard.
And the one my Ex has is also 3 years old and the only one she uses.
Both of them are starting to get button and button light problems.
I figured why send them back when you can get a new one for what it's going to cost to send it to get fixed.
Neither my dad nor my ex will upgrade from the 2.5.

I just ordered 2 blems for $19.95 for them.
Once I get them and after the holidays, I can send them in to get worked on.
Maybe I can work a deal with Provape to send all 3 in the same box to save on shipping.

I recently sent 2 of mine back at the same time. You just need separate rma's in the box. I have a radius, but almost always use my 2.5's.

You can and they will. That'll lessen the cost way down.

I would only add that I have sent back at least three V2.5s for service, and never paid a cent for the repairs.

ProVape has been very good to me.

Same experience here. Always got them fixed and ProVape covered the return shipping. It's been quite some time though since I have had to ask for any repairs.

Finally got inspired (and bored) to dig around make the effort to:
a) find an atty that doesn't have a hole in the bottom
b) build something that's over 1 ohm
So I've fired up a 'Vari! :)

It's been quite a long time...
Flavor, so far, is so-so. And I remember now - Derringer's are leaky bastids.
But with a little fiddlin' MAYBE this can be a handy little stealth dripper?
That's what I was thinking - for those pre-flight puffs...
(...then again, it's throwing off quite a respectable bit of cloud...)
