The OP has a Protank ll/eGo Twist set-up and is looking to go the "the next step up." He said he wants a "well rounded" device (I think he meant flexible). He also said he wanted to try dripping. (Notably, he only said dripping, so it's not clear if he meant simple direct dripping or RDAs). His budget isn't large, so he wants to use it wisely. He said he kind of liked the box mod look and asked what people thought of the MVP v2. These were the replies: (Just get a...)

Reo
MVP v2
Reo (with an explanation of how it works), otherwise an MVP/VTR [This member gets extra points for surmising the OP probably doesn't know what a bottom-feeder is]
Reo Grand w/ RM2
Lavatube V2.5

Not a ProVari in the bunch! However he did get this gem:

"It really depends on what you want to use it for, if you want to get into sub-ohm dripping, go with a mech mod or a high end box mod that will still work below 1 ohm. For example, the hana modz v3 is a box mod that allows you to build coils as low as .5 I believe and has the VW feature. Mech mods allow for you to use any type of atty you want at any build as long as you know a thing or two about battery safety (but seriously, read up on this ALOT if you want to get into sub ohm). If you want a very consistent vape though, you are going to want a vv/vw device"

Followed immediately by, "Hana V3 (DNA 30D) fires down to .4 ohms, it operates only in VW mode. The lowest voltage output it does is 4 volts, for "tender" juices this can be a problem at lower resistances." [I guess they travel in pairs]

Those who think the OP has any clue what the Hana fans are talking about raise your hands!

And yet, we are still persecuted.

Aw, man, we clearly missed an opportunity to ignore a persons immediate needs and imply that if they don't get our favorite device they are both ignorant and unintelligent! We have to be more on our toes here people! How are we going to keep our rep as the Evil Ones if we let these Hana jokers usurp our position as single-minded culties with no concern beyond our own assimilation agenda? C'mon folks, let's step it up here!!!!

I want a MicroStick, too. And I'm trying to talk myself out of a DNA30 mod cuz there is no way I will ever vape at that high a wattage. But I like box mods, and I've have met the guy who makes the HanaModz. And they come in cool colors.....ProVape needs to come out with either a box mod or the metallic purple I want.

I am on the notify list for the MicroStick, and forgetting about everything else....

I ordered a Proto XPV and am on the e-mail list for a DB Modz Da Mini V2...if I'm lucky enough to snag a ZNA, I'll do that too. I want to explore high wattage, but regulated. If I end up with multiple DNA30 mods, I'll just sell the ones I like the least.

I would like to try a ZNA, but I'm starting to believe they are mythical. I would buy one given the opportunity to do so, but I tire quickly of chasing unicorns. Besides, I have little reason to believe it will displace any of my 'vari's as my all day device, so it would likely sit on my desk mostly. I'd then get annoyed about it being in the way (I'm a bit of a neat-nick), and I'd sell it on the classies for a significant loss. Perhaps I'll just buy another ProVari instead ;)

I assure you they are not mythical. Both pbusardo and Dimitris the Vaping Greek were sporting them in Tampa a couple of weeks ago. The are BUILT. I mean the Provari is solid, but these things...

Almost uncomfortably heavy. If pbusardo did not like the VTR for it's weight, then he will ding the xna the same way. It is very distinctive in shape too. They sold like hotcakes at VCC in Tampa.

Since I don't sub-ohm they hold no appeal for me. My 2.0 ohm coils on my Kayfuns are just fine, thank you very much. I go through a battery quick enough as it is. I don't need to turn an 18650 into an 18350 by vaping at high power all the time.

They seem to be the bees knees Rob. I recently went to the openning of new store and shop. Just happened to hear they are within 30 miles of me:) Busardo was enjoying :)

Significantly heavier than my standard varis in 650 mode
