The Pure BICKFORD'S Experiment!

Well i FINALLY got to the Gourmet shop down the road and picked up 2 Brickmans flavors: Rum and Banana (of course!) Sorry TropicalBob--no kahula...

Since the only 2 ingredients listed are PG and natural flavor--i am thinking 5 drops into an old cartridge to start... any suggestions/advice? :geek:

one drop, straight from the bottle, on the vaporizer produced VOLUMES of smoke for roughly the length of a regular cigarette. Doc is VERY happy :D The rum is a bit heavy--but a nice change of pace! The banana is YUMMY!

As one faded into the other; i had a bit of Daquiri there for a minute! A Hemingway in Havana moment!

Fantastic. I see this as my way off nicotine in three months ... Thanks for posting the results.

It has worked MAGNIFICIANTLY for me over the past week mate! I not craving a cig at all since this wacky thing came into my life! The vapor, coupled with the oral/dexteral behavior has filled the void i have had since I quit cold-turkey in March.... this was always the reason i fell off the wagon on previous attempts...

And when I am not puffing-- everyone just assumes i am fiddling with a pen! Good luck Bob!

does anyone know of products comparable to brickmans which we can order online from the uk or maybe even europe?
also looking for "europian brckmans" :) , today i found in supermarket a big choice of flavors from ETOL, they had etanol in the base, but the concentration of flavor very strong, so when i drip 1 drop of rum flavor (thanks to TB) to 5ml of regular tabaco flavor it produce a very nice and strong combination.if it could help -here the web page and its seams the distributer all around the europe.

SJ: Quitting nicotine has entered my mind since I began e-smoking. I don't think I'll quit e-smoking, especially if I enjoy the flavored vapor as much as high nicotine vapor. I have a kind of cut-down plan, but I haven't begun yet because I still have large amounts of 24mg E-Liquid on hand. And I use what I buy! It's just a thought at this point. I had carotid artery surgery a year ago in March and the doctors were quite insistant that it was nicotine that hardened my arteries and brought on the clog and clot. I quit cigarettes then, but not nicotine. As you know, I use snus and e-smoking to keep myself level. But I need to take the final step away from my dependency ... it's a big one.

No problem - we all knew what you were talking about. :)

well i'm glad someone does...

UPDATE: i have filled/refilled my origial 5 carts from smartfixx quite a few times now... 5-7 drops each stright from the bottle. Between refills, dripping and drysmoking: it has been pretty much a perfect experience.... as the carts "season," the taste has mellowed and (i think) improved...

SmartFixx has sent me another battery, VERY good customer service I must say. I recommend them very highly. As a token of my appreciation, I just ordered another kit from them tonight. That will give me a charger and battery at home and the office! A bottle of flavor and i will be all set!

BananaDoc, are you using only the Bickford liquid by itself?

yes. straight from the bottle and unadulterated. It produces admirable vapor as well as deep, rich taste.

Now don't get me wrong--it is nothing compared to the kissbox we've been hearing so much about... but i am not after copious amounts of vapor here... I prefer the subtle wisps as i absently draw on my ecig while writing or lingering over coffee. My wife commented yesterday that i treat it like a pipe--fiddling with it and gesturing with it more than actually smoking it. she said that i am an updated version of the 60's professor streotype with my c-cig replacing the pipe, my Ipod replacing the dog-eared book under my arm and my fleece replacing the tweed jacket... :ugeek: i can live with that.

But really, THAT is what I was after in this--i am happy to be free of the nicotine and never want to return to an addicted place. I remember clearly dreading a long flight or even extra innings at a ballgame. No thank you. I am DONE with that. Now it's back on my terms.

it's enjoyable again--> with NONE of the guilt! :p

Thanks for the response. I have got to try that tonight.

Remember: Wives know best :)

I have just started using the low nicotine, its my goal to go no nicotine.

Bananadoc, you are absolutely my new hero. I intend to follow your teachings. I think that tasty vapor on its own can quiet an adled brain. I will begin by using 20% home-cooked tobacco essence and 80% Bickford Kahlua flavor. Maybe in three months, I can dump the tobacco-related stuff altogether and be free of nicotine for the first time in my adult life.
