Sorry Kate about the shipping charges. Eeek is right! That would be out of the question for me. Talked to John at Bickford's today and said all the flavors don't seem to be there. He assured me they are. When I went back for a second look, they're not exactly in alphabetical order, but they are there. So if you don't find what your looking for right away, just hunt around a little.

$124.30 is not eeek, it's crazy...

We know the prices from China: 21 dollar for half a kilo, express; and prices for more weight are a lot less then 21 dollar for equal weight on top of that first part.
From america, Barryfarm (also flavours) will send out 4 pounds of weight for $9.50, I am seeing on their site, if they are sending internationally (to any place in the world) (cheaper of course for US and Canada).

So I'm not sure what is going on with a price of over 120 dollars... but it must be something strange I think.

I'm really intrigued here. I started looking at e-cigs when I was on my fifth day of quitting smoking. I was having serious withdrawals and looking for a tar/carcinogenic free alternative to smoking. Well, now I am pushing two weeks smoke free and the idea of re-addicting myself to nicotine is not at all appealing. BUT the idea of smoking still is. Now I am wondering if these flavors could also help me curb my sweet tooth.

Those of you who have tried the sweet flavorings, did it make you crave sugar?

This the route to take, PoshGirl. I tried everything offered in the E-Cig sample pack of 27 flavors, and only flue-cured tobacco was decent. But once I found Bickford, I began to get the flavor I wanted. Another user here squeezes out all his old cartridges into a fluid mix he calls "melange" (same term used for tobacco mixes). I do the same and then add Bickford to dominate the flavor. My favorite is Kahlua, as in coffee. I use about three-fourths commercial liquid and one-quarter Bickford when I do this.

My absolute favorite is homebrew liquid and Bickford Kahlua.

You can create quite a flavorful mix using non-nicotine fluid and a Bickford flavor of your choice (I find straight Bickford to be TOO strong). I often cut the mix with vegetable glycerine bought at a health food store and Kahlua liquor. The alcohol isn't intoxicating, of course, and serves to purify the mix and add some light flavor, as well as cleaning the atomizer.

I always like sweet, so haven't noticed anything different. Glycerine is a sweetener, much sweeter than propylene glycol. If it gets in your mouth, you go "yum" instead of "yuck". As you'll read elsewhere, it's safe for diabetics to use.

Hi. I did get my flavours from Barry Farm and have mentioned them in this thread - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tips-tricks/1137-flavoring-shops-2.html The ones I bought are listed as ok as far as ingredients are concerned although there were two that were mis-described by the website (unless I ordered when I was too tired to notice the additives). I'm really happy with them, they are very strong flavours, you only need a little for a whole bottle of mix. Affordable too. Would recommend. I've only tried cranberry and bubblegum flavours so far but both are nice. Again they are strong, only use a little at a time until you get the taste you want, it's easy to overdo it.

If you want to know the specific ingredients of any of the flavours I got just let me know, I'll be happy to list what it says on the bottle.

Thanks Kate!

Been e-smoking for about 3 months now after a 50 a day habit! Really want to make my own mix of flavours and i know there are topics on this but i can't seem to get my hands on what i need! I bought Glycerin from boots but it doesn't seem to produce any decent amount of vapour! It says 100% BP Glycerin on the bottle but when dripped it seems to kill the smoke production rather than increase it! Any advice from anyone in the UK on a supplier for VG or advice on what i might be doing wrong! It's not rocket science so i can only assume it's not the right stuff! I have to say this forum has been a wealth of knowledge already for me and i appreciate any help i can get!

Well done on switching to ecigs Jdog, I bet you feel better for it.

I got veg. glycerine from ebay but it was BP grade too so you seem to have similar stuff. Alcohol and propylene glycol make 'smoke' too so you might want to use ingredients in your mix that include those. I use a mix of squeezed cartridges, veg glycerine and flavourings. There's some vg, pg and alcohol in there somewhere. My mixes usually 'smoke' well.

Kate i'm gonna drag out ma old catridges and give it a go! I actually stoppped smoking thanks to Champix which i know is a whole different thread but after 23 years on cigarettes i can safely say i'm glad to be off them whatever the method! No side effects here but after reading other peoples comments probably best to go cold turkey! lol! Started back on the cigars (not inhaling of course) but still miss the feeling on the lungs so then e-cigs! The future if the powers that be don't ruin it for us all!!

It is a lot of flavours DC, it'll take me a while to get through them all, I've only tried two so far. If you get some LorAnn flavours let us know which you get and what you think of them. The LorAnn webside also sells them - https://www.lorannoils.com/c-6-super-strength-flavors-candy-oils.aspx. They are a bit cheaper there than at Barry Farm LorAnn Candy Flavoring Oils but you have to email them for a price for shipping.

I was thinking of burning some off a spoon in the way Knutselpeter (sp?) does to see how much residue is left. I have a feeling that they are pretty clean like Bickfords, the ones I listed have only flavour and pg or alcohol.

I'm still working my way through them slowly Katy. So far I've tried cranberry, bubblegum and coconut. Cranberry is light and fruity with a slight tang, bubblegum is ... well fun ... I know that's an inadequate description but I can't think of any other way to describe it, I'm just learning the language of esmoking tastes. Coconut smells lovely, the taste isn't very strong but the smell makes up for it, nice. It's going to take a long time to try all these flavours out.

So far I don't think the flavours are affecting my atomisers. I can't be sure though, I'm a bit heavy on them and set them aside regularly for a clean one.

Sorry to repeat myself but I noticed that Fish was reading this thread and he's looking for a neat flavour to drip. I do not recommend dripping LorAnn candy flavours neat Fish, they are very concentrated. I've been using very little in my mixes, literally drops, for flavour.

Fish, if you refill the cartridge you need to drip enough to saturate the filling. If you drip straight onto your atomiser then try two drips at a time to start off with and adjust if you need to.
