lol-i was just writing a piece about why it should be cheaper Karen...its no secret that i also think disposable is the best policy...but it needs to get cheaper still...

if it was £2-3 for an atomiser and the same for batteries, you could vape happily for a week and toss without trying to eke out the lifespan of parts like we currently do...

right now i try and make them go as far as i can...
usually beyond the point where id like to toss them, because they still arent cheap enough...

similarly, the liquid and carts could also be much cheaper...
liquid in particular too expensive in the UK.

generics should be half the price they are at retail currently...the only solution right now is to buy in numbers for discount.

being right too often is what pisses some people off karen.. and what makes me so mean janet is being contradicted just for the hell of it by too many people who have nothing better to do.. .. i know its coming and dont really have much patience left for it any more..

the question ask repeated in this thread was put very clearly janet.. not just how many puffs per atomizer but how many milliliters of liquid can we expect to pass thru our atomizers before their performance dies off significantly..

there are no variables here.. the question could have been answered but wasnt..

###

the cheapest way karen is to buy the one kit and ten atomizers and ten batteries all from heavens gift.. email them first for a quote and it all comes with the one shipping charge.. they are good for carts as well.. they are very reliable and cheap..

my screwdriver device should solve my battery problems so my running costs are down to just atomizers and liquid.. which like em or hate em will be 50 ml bottles of 24 mg flue cured from e cig china if it comes ever comes back on line..

its been a nuisance for me since it disappeared..

this thread should have been left dead.. it seems to have been resurrected by our latest trog basher.. who dosnt seem to like the fact i know more about e cigs than he does.. sad but true..

as for kate well she has her own agenda and it aint to sing my praises..

i never at first replied but others did so i felt obliged to.. being talked about in a derogatory fashion and feeling u cant answer aint bloody good.. its also beyond my will power not to.. he he he

i used to buy my semi legal Belgium imported roll up tobacco in £250 lots..

the main thing that stops me buying tooo many e smoking "anythings" in one go is i aint sure what i would be getting..

every tiime i settle on a long term plan something comes along and messes it up.. the olympics being a typical example.. he he he

the pound is now tanking against the dollar so i am suffering chinese inflation big time.. my buying costs have gone up 12% in a month.. i hope it dont continue at this rate.. he he he

mind u its just occurred to me now might be the time to buy loads of stuff.. it might cost 12% more in another month.. he he he

and they say 1 filter = 2 packs of real cigs

i think.. sorry i know they are telling lies.. or to be more polite they are deliberately trying to mislead the potential buyer..

they are probably just copying figures claimed elsewhere.. these figures are based on "puff counts".. they have nothing at all to do with the nicotine factor..

the nicotine factor will be more like three or four real cigarettes..

it goes like this.. based on a classic cart containg 1 ml of 16 mg liquid..

one real cig equals 15 puffs.. ten equals 150 puffs.. a classic cart equals 150 puffs.. therefore one cart equals a packet of real cigs..

but newer carts only contain a quarter of the liquid a classic used to contain.. so its down to 2.5 real cigarettes.. claims of one cart equal xxx packets of real cigarettes are nonsense..

work it out but u need to know just how much liquid the carts contain.. i would guess .5 ml at the most..

i drip 2 ml of 24 mg liquid per day.. allowing for wastage this equates with ten super mini carts.. its all about the volume of liquid that is consumed and the strengh..

i just bought a generic penstyle starter kit and 15 carts from ebay. now it isnt as good quality as the one i got from smokester but it has a 4 hole atomizer and produces plenty of vapour and it does the job fine.It was new in cellophane and packaged in the book like box ( same as smokesters ) 2batts , charger et al.

Cost me £14.99 and £2.50 postage, from a UK seller and arrived the next day. the guy seems to sell a few of these.

Now if i can get even 1 a week this would still be cheaper than a 20 a day taylor made smoker.

i havent got a clue how much suppliers get these kits for in bulk but i bet they could lower the price drastically and still make a profit.

Keep the devices cheap and make money on juice and carts. just like gillette do for there razors.

the gilette model would work if the liquid was only able to be used on the same model as they seller sold, but this is not case with these. a user can buy a device from one user and the liquid from another. its a tricky prediciment for the sellers. dont know how your ebay seller managed to get you that kit for 14.99. s/he must really be hoping to offload a ton to make any real profit. that..or they were stolen.

about half of what they charge the customer.. its common practice to simply buy from china in dollars and simply mark the price up to UK pounds.. this dosnt allow for customs charges and UK vat.. the profit is made in consumables..

it would be possible to give the cigs away with a big enough cart purchase.. but the planet is gonna be overrun with cheap ebay sellers trying to flog these things.. its all too easy..
