you need to try some menthol fishy. It's funny but e-cig menthol works almost opposite to real cig menthol - in real cigs the point is to cut the harshness of tobacco, but in e-cigs it kinda gets up into your nose more than most other flavours. Remember it's more like mint than menthol. This is just my opinion - maybe try a box of five carts in case you hate it.

Signing off - it's nearly four am here.

Take care

yeah i know where youre coming from Trog...i think most of us can relate to it...

i reckon the majority of us suck these things constantly...it really is an addiction in itself...

i force myself to stick with an atomiser until i really cant stand its performance...although it does require willpower-more than when i started...i could easily bin it after a week or less if i let myself-you cant beat a new atomiser...oh its all such a bloody struggle really...if i could afford to,id have a fresh one much more often...which brings us back to the rip off thing again...

i dont want to go the snuss etc route...i dont wanna up my nic intake any further...or increase my dependency on it even further either...

i think anyone whos managed to stay off the fags, and who then starts snuss etc in addition to esmoking isnt doing themselves any favours...

and certainly not if they ever intend to try to ween themselves off it,as some brave esmokers plan to do.

i think the initial euphoria of finding something apparently much healthier to finally replace the dreaded fags when first using ecigs, seems to help carry us through at first, and everythings wonderful...then after awhile the frustrations start to mount up...

but what can we do?we're currently stuck with inadequate devices...but most of us are still very much addicted...and some perhaps more than before.

i have formulated a new plan darcy.. he he..

okay we have two fears here.. creating a greater nicotine addiction than we had to start with and coping with unreliable e devices.. as u say the initial euphoria wears off after some months which leaves us with the frustration of the unreliable devices.. bobs approach is not to bother trying and get his nicotine feed from other methods.. its his choice its not my choice..

a simple conclusion.. take a good device.. say the 901.. we all know a new one works nicely.. the frustration only sets in when we try and eak out the life span of the bloody things..

how to end the unreliable device factor.. the answer is staring me in the face.. bin the bloody things before this stage sets in.. not spend half our lives trying to keep the things going and wondering why they aint.

my plan for 100% guaranteed fully functional e smoking.. one complete 901 a week.. after one week chuck the thing and use a new one.. one atomizer and one battery per week will provide reliable operation.. i know this for a fact..

the snag.. cost.. can i afford it.. but to me its the only way to get rid of the unreliable factor so some way i am gonna have to afford it..

as for the greater addiction thing.. well thats another matter..

trog

ps.. please.. no mine lasts me for weeks stuff (no matter how well intentioned) from anybody.. i know how long the things last me which is all i care about.. he he he

ps..2.. darcy i have the cheapest plan worked out.. pm me if u want it..

Not to sound like a commercial here - but there is a brand that comes with a 1 year warranty. They will replace the batteries or the atomizer if it is not working. It is worth the little extra you spend!

Get 2 of them, and be done with it. If one kicks, you send it in to be replaced while you use the other one.

Mark the batteries, and you will know if one performs better than the other.

Get different levels of carts, and see if you can ween down gradually.

Or, someone else suggested putting regular and the no nic in a bag and shaking it up - but this could be bad if by some random thing you smoked all the no nic first and then wound up back on nic.

My first atomizer broke down and I was not prepared and had to smoke again. I was not happy about it at all, and now I'm prepared if it happens again.
