you can call me pwr. pwrstrk02 has been my screen name for EVERYTHING since the invention of the interwebs. actually since 2002, that is when i bought the biggest baddest truck i have ever owned, an 02 powerstroke diesel f250 4 door, chipped, intake and exhaust. i got rid of it because all we hauled was groceries.

Content WARNING..... Live Snake. REO featured, too. BTW.... My second diesel truck was an F250, long bed, stretch cab Ford, 1990, 8.2 Liter. LOVED that truck!!!!! Had it 20 years. It got 20 mpg unloaded or loaded with tons, city and highway, no matter the speed or whether pulling various trailers or not.

will this be a snack for later?

If I didn't have other readily available, easy to obtain protein sources, yes, we would go to the hassle to dress and eat it but Copperheads aren't all that big so little meat. This one was <30". Snake meat is really yummy, one of the best reptiles treats. When the lake was filling we had numerous GIANT Rattlesnakes fleeing through our property and "civilized" yards, with daily sightings, within yards of house, for several years. We used to catch them for tanning without even hunting for them. First week we were in house, Sept '86, we had our first in-house snake, in dining room, a juvie Rattlesnake. Dogs get Rattlesnake vaccine but we've only had one Rattlesnake bite. All the rest have been numerous Copperhead bites, mostly young dogs. I've had lots of non-venomous snake bites but my first venomous was this past spring, a graze from Copperhead, not being careful. I don't think it wasted much venom on me, though. I suctioned area which probably caused more trauma to tissue than the bite.

BTW.... we really don't like killing snakes; never any non-venomous. We like to keep them comfortable before putting them in deep freeze to humanly kill them.

BTW, BTW.... I have a 40+" Coral in my freezer. Not the biggest caught in Texas, but close to. It'll make a really pretty belt or hat band.

The above pictures were taken at Vapefest in Vegas this weekend. They were posted in Bert's Art Glass thread (Trippy Tips). The first one was taken by Bert and shows our REO's with our new Trippy tips. If you look at DH's hand on my shoulder, he has one of Karen's covers in it that he took off to show off the REO. The 2nd one was at dinner, and that is Bert, me and DH at the Peppermill in Vegas. Pietro is sitting next to Bert, but all you can see is his hand holding the menu. By my water glass is my REO with it's cover on and the top is facing the camera.

Thanks for posting these here RHP!

To think that I spent 7 years living in Las Vegas and moved away before my vaping days started is frustrating! It would have been so wonderful to live there and be able to invite lots of Reonauts over to share some time! Not to mention the vape meets that I would have been able to attend!

Such is life!

Glad to hear you had a great time and got to meet up with some REO family.

Happy to see the covers get some use Valerie!
