You worked at Atari? What games did you work on?

i started in jan 73, a month or two after Pong was introduced. i worked in manufacturing, so most of the Pongs that were ever shipped had my paws on them in one way or the other.

i meant to work 2 weeks to afford 2 pairs of jeans and maybe a pair of tennies. i resigned 8 years later.

i'll just share my best story...

since i worked in manufacturing i only really knew Jobs from casual hallway run-ins. i'd also bumped into him and Woz at Homebrew Computer Club meetings around the time they rolled out the Apple I. by that time, thanks to a few well-executed cons, i was in charge of the department that repaired the printed circuit boards. one day, either Al or someone from engineering asked if i could "absorb" Jobs for a month or two, since my department was the only one with any openings. i asked one of my guys who i thought went to high school with him and he said "naw- you don't want him- he's an a$$h..." so i declined.

big, big mistake

We'll come out to Idaho and I'll put ya on one. I'm a bow hunter only really but I don't mind others using rifles. I'm hoping a get a break before Xmas. Nice late season bow hunt coming up!

That would be awesome! I used to bow hunt quite a bit until I developed shoulder problems :( I broke down and bought a crossbow a couple years ago when MI started allowing them for everyone during now season. That's kind of my task for the day: get the tents up on the ladder stands and get the feeders up and running. If you ever find yourself out MI way, stop by and I will always have a place for you to hunt :) (Whitetails or bunnies) I wish I had the time to come out to Idaho and take you up on your offer. How much do non-resident elk tags go for out there?
