It didn't look so sexah when I was wearing my billybob teeth did it? I would put them bad boys on, go buy cigs, introduce myself as Rufus, talk like Early in Kalifornia...people don't look at ya the same when your teeth are bad! Those things looked so real.
I had to throw them away, cause I would wear em to parties (pre kids) talk like Rufus to people who thought I was Rufus, and embarrassed my wife once to many times!
Wish I had em now. Life is good.

Brand new to the Reo forums but here I am with a baby Mantis. Macro photography seems to be my favorite hobby lately.
Oh how cool. Can you show a macro shot of it? Mantises are fascinating, but thanks to this guy I always think of them as evil, planning my demise.

I just recently started shooting in RAW format so all my older pics are JPEG. I kick myself in the .... for not shooting Raw for some of these great insect moments.

Nice work, man! Macro photography is hard to do well, whenever I try I'm always disappointed in the results. Well done!
It's made a lot easier for us casual camera bugs with a decent point and shoot with a few settings and then ability to pick one out of 25-100. Yeah, I have a couple a more fancy cameras, not professional mind you, (my immediate neighbor is a professional photographer) but I certainly love my little Canon Powershot A 640. I've had it at least two years and I still haven't looked to see if it has burst mode, handy with kids and animals.

I totally understand that. My last camera was what they call a bridge camera. Love that thing to death but when it stopped working I decided to bite the bullet and get a DSLR. The price was decent as a refurbished Sears model. I have what is considered a beginners DSLR (Sony A390) but it's opened up a whole new world for me on on photography. Macro insect shots just lure me in like none other. It really is a great joy in my life to do this.

Praying Mantises are just so cool. We had one visit here on our deck a couple years ago. I keep my eyes open for them, but haven't seen one since.
