What mess, what are you talking about? A xxix with a kayfun lite plus v2 on top is about as simple, functional, and high performing as it gets. Honestly, some of these posts have me concerned, sounding more like a budding cult than a product that harbors a lot of fanboys...I mean you can like a product, but why so extreme, you don't have to swear off everything else just to be a fan of the reo, you'd think you were trying to be faithful the way you all swear off any other device past, present, and future lol
Until you try a good bottom feed device it's hard to explain. It's not a cult thing, it just performs way better. The Reo is a top notch bottom feeder and the customer support and user group are unequalled. So combine BF with high quality plus great support and you have the Reo.
As simple as it gets? Sorry but nothing is simpler than a good BF. Install a coil and wick that's good for months. Refill the bottle and change batteries daily. That's it.
Have you ever tried a Reo? I did at one time own a Kayfun Lite so I have compared the two side by side. Please don't waste your concern on us, there are many other issues where your concern would be justified. There is no cult here. I continue to watch new products as they are developed and if one were to come out that matches the Reo in simplicity of design, ease of use, and ruggedness I will purchase one or two or three. Just haven't seen it yet.

Besides being a bottom-feeder with a bottle (no tank to worry about) I think many also love the Reo for its looks and its fun factor (never underestimate the fun factor). Add rugged durability and low maintenance to the equation and you've got a Winner.
Yea after having my reo for a whole week, I want another one. I am still gonna use my other devices as much as I can, but the REO takes the cake! for sure! I'm actually debating selling a few things in order to get another one, but I'm probably just gonna hold off for as long as possible and try to purchase one without selling the "backups"...
I have a black wrinkle with copper vein door REO grand lp with a rm4. Im not exactly sure which one I want next. Probably the mini or a lp SL. As far as a color...probably white with a black wrinkle door and a brass rm2 and brass button coverWhich one do you have and which one/s do you want?

Yeah, it's a hard choice. I'm looking at the TRA (Tumbled Raw Aluminum) in the SL (holey version) now...just looks pretty indestructible. Good luck to ya!
Tanks are messy unless you get them just right. I had nothing but problems with the KFL and I hate it. Bottomfeeders don't use the vacuum principle so leaking is never a concern, I could wick the thing with my eyes closed and still get it right. A lot of people don't have issues with Kayfuns...a lot do, and I'm one of them x.x well, was. I'll never attempt one again
