I don’t know what else to say but thank you! so happy!
I know you’ve been searching and searching.....and it didn’t seem like it was gonna happen. I used the Chalice II until the Chalice III came out. I fell in love with the III (because of the adjustable air) and have just stuck. I found my vaping nirvana...... REO P67 or REO Woodvil, and a Chalice III sporting about .8 Ohm coil.

Yes. Such is the magic of Reoville. It has been this way since the beginning. You can blame this one on @Robinowitz ....she started it. Ha.

Hahaha! This is sincerely one of the 2 reasons that I’ve never had a need to leave Reoville. It is the kindness and helpfulness of this gang and of course, some kick-.... mods (backed by awesome customer service) that keeps me here. And Jan, you’be been here thru thick and thin and everything in between. Can’t imagine it without you.

Also Jan, thank you for saying yes! If you hadn’t @Vapefiend would still be searching (sadly) and I would have felt guilty for the Chalice 3 that wasn’t being appreciated because my vaping style shifted. It’s a win-win with another win coming up!

Good to see folks chatting! I too check in here most days.

It IS good to see folks chatting. I get so homesick for the “good ol’ days” on this forum sometimes. I really love the group of regulars we have, but I miss so many of the Reonauts who have moved on. I’m from an older generation and find internet relationships rather frustrating in general. I get as attached to forum friends as I do with IRL friends.....but the internet friends can just poof away never to be seen again at any moment.

Yep! I too care about each of you. I’ve often welcomed people who have purchased their 1st Reo by saying that not only have they purchased possibly the best PV but they have also inherited a helpful, wise and sometimes goofy family. One of the things that I most cherish is that we may have different or similar beliefs but when it comes to Reos we are aligned and willing to help in any way possible.

There have been times that I’ve taken our Forum for granted. I don’t want to do that anymore. Let’s keep the conversation going.

And yes @Eric Parlin, anything we should know about? How about just a tease?

This is my weekly rejuvenation place during the summer. Every Wednesday I get to float, relax and watch otters, ducks, herons and other critters. Fall is starting to set in early so I cherish each and every Wed even more.

What a wonderful space to be able to relax in. Good for you.

Just sitting, listening to the animals, breathing fresh air, going for a paddle - it's amazing how good not having an appointment or the trappings of 21st century life to distract can be for you.

Funny you should mention that @Vapefiend and @JC Okie! Moments after I posted, I thought that my Daily driver (aka Red SL Grand) ought to have made it in the photo. It’s always with me out there. And on the ocassion that I paddle up River, I NEVER have to worry about it getting wet and breaking. Yes, perhaps it gets a bit sandy but hey, no biggie.

And yes, @Papa_Lazarou, the serenity of no hustle and bustle or electronics is one of the gifts of being there. Being in-plugged is a buzz. Yesterday, watching a river otter play was enough excitement for me.

My niece and nephew took their REOs to the Florida beaches this summer. On the second day my nephew called me frantic. He said his REO took a swim and what should he do??!!??!! Panic. I calmly told him to change out the battery and the wick and dry it with a towel. He did it and was back in business in under 5 minutes.

Have I mentioned that I LOVE REOs?

That is awesome. I haven’t had an experience where my reo fell in water. I have dropped some of mine on concrete, tile/hardwood floor, dirt/grass, even in a shallow puddle; once my reo fell in the crack between the center console and car seat, now that wasn’t pleasant. We all know how hard it can be to keep that area clean.

I’ve been fortunate enough to not require a battery or wick change :) yet. Lol

And speaking of nice, peaceful places....I live on an acre and a half that adjoins my sister’s 12 acres, and my niece/nephew’s one acre. We’ve owned this land since forever....when there was just a gravel road to get here. But the city has grown around us and there is a huge housing development right “up the hill” now full of gorgeous, huge, outrageously expensive mansions sitting on tiny little lots with privacy fences so close to their outside walls that they can’t see anything but fence out of any window but the front ones. I have a very modest house, but a beautiful piece of land. I wouldn’t trade any one of them for their mansion on a postage stamp sized piece of land.
