Doffy, my man. How's the chook(s)?

Hi Papa

Our last chook, Maria, died in 2017 I think it was. She was old, pretty much blind, ans possibly demented.

I got a new parrot in February. The cinnamon in this pic. His name is Ollie, after John Olsen the painter.

Silver vein shouldn't need coating. It was more the copper vein that discoloured
Thank you for the scoop! (Love the wisdom here).

But folks is the supervein the same thing as the silver vein? Is that why there are differing opinions??

Well... I'm thinking the discolouration of the "veins" is due to oxidation (copper for sure, and I've had a silver vein get darker same as jif), so while the super is maybe different, metallurgically, it prolly could suffer from the same fate. I'd coat (spray or wrap) it to be safe, myself.

I'd be down to coating a vein mod for.the challenge.. though off the top.of my head I cant figure out exactly how and will need to dig through the threads for info.

Like do you spray it with the door on or off? Thinking on to prevent spraying the door track as then one would have to remove the coating from the door track as it would prevent you from inserting the door.. but then the thought comes to mind that if one did spray with the door on, the door would prob be like glued on! Haha.

Yeah I remember that, and that was awesome that you had that done for him. It kind of makes me wonder how Robert is doing though.

I wonder often... but he disappeared off the face of the planet when he sold... has anyone heard from Rob since?

Yes, who can forget that gorgeous and kind event. Thanks for the memories. Yep, I too hope that Rob is grooving. Job well done! Im betting that when he envisioned Reos, I doubt that he could have foreseen the longevity (or even the birth) of Reoville! Job well done. If anyone has contact with him, please pass along our continued gratitude!
