the counterfeit ones were no IMR LiMN batteries like AW IMR 1600mah 18650's, they were flat top unprotected Li-ion Cobalt 2200mah batteries or to the best info we could get out of the supplier that sold them to us.

So yes the flat tops were not AW or IMR's they were a higher mah but not a safe chem batt.

Don't get me wrong, Joe. I'm happier knowing what I've got.

I have batteries with crazy misspellings and wrong words - they say those are a sign of being fake. I bought them from very reputable vaper suppliers - they work fine.

Considering 90% of the vapor suppliers buy from china (alibaba.com) - your going to get some fake batteries. Even at the most reputable suppliers it has happened. Im sure i have some fakes, and if you have 10 or so different batteries laying around - im sure you have some fakes too. I would say avoid most ebay sellers because chances are your are defiantly buying fakes. Don't assume USA sellers have better batteries - most buy them from China - they are just the middle man. The fact is you just don't know.
