I vape between 5 and 6 ml daily, so I need a potent battery. Nothing below 2000mAh will do for me. On the other hand, I would not use a battery which does not fit into an ordinary size shirt pocket. Therefore, I think that the only type of battery adequate for me would be a box mod.

I do not like direct dripping, since I do not think that it would allow me to vape automaticly without paying any attention to it. And I would certainly never want my wick to run dry. And I want variable wattage.

At present, I vape using two iTaste MVPs, one of which is loosing capacity after only 9 months of use. What I would like to have, is something like a MVP but with an exchangeable 18650 (or stronger) battery.

The iTaste VTR is too heavy for a shirt pocket (and too posh for me). Besides, it only really goes well with an iClear 30 vaporizer. And I use all kinds of vaporizers, top as well as bottom coil.

The hana modz dna 30 would be right for me - if it would not require a screw driver (loose screws!) to open it for the exchange of the battery. So what I would like to have is something like a hana modz which opens like a Reo Grand or a VTR.

Any suggestions for me?

If I wont´t find the kind of battery described above, my next battery will likely be a MVP again. Besides, my thumb has by now adapted itself to its small and "hard to press" (not for me anymore) firing button.

Thanks in advance
Peter

You can charge the battery on the Hana Modz while still in the Mod. I keep a charger in my truck for mine.

But I admit I love the REO's ease of change (and the taste) better.

I'm a "flavor-changer". I like to keep at least 5-6 flavors available for my mood swings, so off to work, 2 REO's and my Hana with 3-4 tanks.

At night my VTR and my REO mini sit on my desk. Yeah I'm strange

If you just need a little guy for on the go, the eleaf istick is hard to beat. My girlfriend recently got one, and it rocks. 2200 mah non-removable battery, fires 1+ ohm coils and puts out up to 20 watts. It does seem to hit unusually hard at low settings, so it might be best to use a topper that can handle ~4 volts. That said, the thing's awesome. It's scarcely bigger than a Bic lighter. I could pocket 5 or 6 of 'em, and for $35 on ebay, I just might... :p

The Vapor Shark rDNA does need a screw driver to open it, as shown in the review by A PBusardo on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLEaJQsj9J4 .
The Sigelei 100W does in fact have magnets for closing, but this double 18650 is too big for a shirt pocket. And the Sigelei 50W has those darn screws again.
And the IPV2 has hex screws.
So this looks like a rather screwed up issue to me. Too many producers with too little phantasy making too similar products. And I will certainly not acquire the habit of always carrying a screw driver around with me.

The Eleaf iStick is like a somewhat slimmer MVP, even though it looks better. But the MVP also has 400mAh more than the iStick. So in the end it looks like my next battery will be a MVP again.

But at any rate, thanks a lot to everyone for contributing to this overview of 2000+mAh compact box mods with exchangeable batteries.
