I've never used a VV ego before so I can't speak to that personally. I do however use my MVP daily. It is built like a tank and the battery lasts such a wonderfully long time. It is only VV from 3.3V-5V and won't read your device resistance and isn't VW but it does have this amazing puff counter on it that is sooooo useful....oh wait that part is worthless to pretty much everyone! LOL Anyway my point is that it really shines in the battery department and the fact that it fits the hand nicely. I love mine and will continue to use always. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

You'll get a longer battery life. The box it's self is pretty sturdy. The fact you can't change the battery out is a pretty big bummer. The price is pretty reasonable. It has it's good and bad qualitys just like anything else. The screen for vv and changing the voltage is very simple. Which is nice, because I am way too good at making things harder than they have to be ;)

I love mine. Its sturdy and I like the size and shape of it (looks unsuspicious in my pocket). Its simple to use and makes a lot of vapor! I accidentally turned mine up to 4.5 volt for my first puff and nearly choked. I run it on 3.7 but I like the fact that I can increase it up to 5.0 if I ever need to. The battery seems to last a long time compared to others I've used. I would recommend getting one. Its a fairly small investment that you may end up loving...

The box form factor doesn't roll off tables or car seats...

As far as vaping, it's just a higher capacity VV battery, with 0.1 volt steps. Easy to read and adjust. VERY long time between charges, unless you vape more than 24 hours in a day you don't need to worry about it going dead. (I use the puff counter as a rough guide on when I want to recharge, so it does, for me, have a use.)

May drive say a DCT better than what you have, but if you don't use dual coil carto tanks that may not be an issue.

Yes, non-replaceable battery is an issue for some, but not really different from what you have.

It's solidly built, has a long battery life, has both 510/ego threading, fits easily and nicely on ones hand and pockets. It is a little bit heavier than an ego style battery, but it is completely metal (except for screen and firing button), and can withstand punishment more than some other devices. It is compact, easily portable and can be used as a passthru or personal charging station (in fact, during severe weather many vapers have reported using it as such to keep their phones alive when they are without power).

You can use any juice delivery device with it, and it delivers a more powerful vape than even a spinner. It also has a nice indicator in the firing button (Green, Yellow, Red) to let you know when your battery is depleting. 2600 mAh battery = 2.5 days for a lot of people.

If you wish to stay in the form factor of an ego-style, look into the Itaste VV V3, which is a squarish 800 mAh ego style with VV and VW, and a micro-usb to use to charge or passthru.

It would not necessarily be a step up. Probably not, other than increased battery life. You won't get the voltage range as you get with a Ego VV, and it'll be much more a pain to carry the MVP around.

There are much better VVs out there than the MVP, and comparatively priced. It has but one real advantage. Increased battery life, which actually might be negated in the sense that when it dies, apparently, it's dead.
