Well, greaaaaat.... how does it compare to the erlkonigin (...that will be arriving here tomorrow)?

Well, there is no comparison, truly. Erli is a native single coil atomizer, Estia is native tri-coil configuration. No possible match up exists. well, can set up the Estia with a single coil, using included screws to block of the other air intakes, then would be on equal footing. But why would i do that???

Lets just say, if someone offered to trade their Estia straight across for my Erlkonigin with the 10 ml SS tank, I would seriously consider it.

Looks like a really stripped down version. No plastic tank section, stand & rod, extra ceramic cup, spare o-rings, allen key and no box. But what can you expect for $26? I had it in my shopping cart for a while and then deleted it. Must have discipline!! No more impulse buying....unless a real game changer comes alone.

My clone has the plastic tank section. The box is an exact clone as well and comes with the stand and tools.

E-Cloud Vapes - Rose V2 Atomizer

Threads are mostly good but could use a tad bit of work where the bottom tank section screws onto the base. AFC ring spins well. O ring where the top of the chimney comes through the top section needs lubed or the juice flow is really hard to adjust.

For the price it gives me a chance to try it and I love the stand and will likely use it for my other builds.

That looks a lot more attractive than the bare bones FT clone! If I didn't already have two Rose2's, I'd jump on that E-Cloud clone.

Ft will have it with all the parts and probably a little less than $26 in a few more days, I have two of the $26 ones ordered but I just now ordered one from that E-Cloud link.
Thanks for the link.
BTW, the one FT has now does come with the plastic tank included but not the base or spares.(guess it comes with spares after all, just no base)

Well I thought it would be less..........

I need help :( every time I think I have it built the ohm meter gives me just dashes (short?) I'm wondering if I'm cutting the leads too short but I'm using the suggested 4-5mm. I'm trying to do a single, diagonal build.

My first attempt, one of the screws cut the wire.

Since then I just keep getting the dashes on the meter.

You may have a piece of wire still in the hole. Stick a paper clip wire into the hole and see how deep it goes.

I believe you are correct! It didn't come out when I pulled the coil. I just knew it came out missing most of the lead. So I spent 2 hours working on this to no avail :p

If you take the 510 threaded bottom cap off (using the stand/tool), you can break the Rose down even further. Just be careful, it can be difficult to reassemble.

One the bottom cap and grub screws are removed, remove the screw from the white delrin section. Once removed, the whole positive post/section will slide out. This should solve your problem.

To put everything back together, I find easiest doing this. Insert the positive post, then slide the delrin piece into place. Next, fit the grub screw into the positive section and leave the allen key in the screw. This will keep the positive post from rotating as you tighten the screw back into the delrin piece.

Best of luck!

PS. Still waiting for my replacement parts from Eden Mods. They supposedly sent them out.. oh.. about a month ago now. They said that "sometimes things get lost in the mail." Of course, there was never a tracking number. On friday, they told me they would send out a new replacement part with tracking this time. Yeppp, no response. Bought myself a clone today. It's a shame this British company doesn't live up to the lofty standards their fellow Brits place so highly on them. :( Darn fine atty, though.

Thanks :). I didn't go far enough. I'll pull the post tomorrow.

There are other problems, too. One of the ceramic cups is broken (the skinny tab between the 2 wick cutouts). Of course that's the one that fits in easily. The good one is a bear to get in.

Hmm, well I don't use the ceramic cups on either Rose2, make's it to hard to re-wick and limits the building space to much. Really don't understand it's purpose, and haven't noticed any difference when I stopped using it. With the Ceramic cup in, one almost has to rebuild to re-wick since the coil leads are to mangled to pull out and reinstall. I just use the cups to measure and adjust my lead position so it's a wham bam thank you Rose, a quickie install.

I do use the ceramic cup but I think I've finally got mine dialed in after much trial and error. I use separate hex driver when insertin the coil. I put the coil on the he driver and gently press on the top after I use tweezers to guide 5 he leads into the cup.then I tighten the side screws. I found wicking is REALLY important and can drastically effect the performance of the atomizer. For me it seemed I 2 ant getting very good vapor from the regular cotton, so I have a prime organic cotton that resembles angle hair . I wind it into a thin wick then weave it through the cup. Making sure that too much cotton isn't protruding from the slots then I put the tank together and fill. Finally I was able to get a nice thick vapor and great flavor! This atomizer has great potential to be a great atomizer it's just that it can be very picky with the wicking and build. I'm using a 1.0 ohm build on her and finally she's rocking. If your getting any gurgling close the juice flow slightly until the gurgle stops. And if your getting dry hits slightly open the flow a bit. It really has the potential to be adjusted 30 act ly to meet your needs. Finally I can say yes it is performing better than my kayfun!! It took some patients but finally, I think I've got it!!

I think I'm going to try it without the cup. I figured it enhanced flavor like the one at the bottom of the rm2 for the reo.

Thanks, everyone for your help. Its definitely my most difficult rebuildable, and I am new to them. But, I'm pretty mechanical and thought I could do it...maybe not ready :)

I will play with it again in a bit.

While will agree the Rose is intricate to build, and takes a more precise touch, once one has the build height and preferences dialed in and optimized, it becomes the quickest easiest rba to rebuild. I always note me coil legs length before each new build, so when I get the purrfect result's it's a quick measure and snip once the legs are aligned.

Lately when I wrap coils for a new rba, or a rebuild, will think of what is next in line for a make over, and pump out a few sets of coils, plus a backup for the rose. Heck have all the tools out already, which takes more time then tension wrapping one coil, so might as well wind some backups, just speeds up the total rebuilding time.
