Yeah, one quickly measures the lead length for their build, once ideal is determined, notes it, and measures the cut in the future:D Rose was easer to get the wicking down, mainly because of JC. Have a love/hate thing going with juice control, love having it but hate having to mess with it. If that makes sense. But once me wick is finally seasoned and broke in, only time I touch it is when filling and taking the first vape off a fill up. Once pressure is equalized, usually don't have to mess with it.

After having the Rose for about a week now, I absolutely LOVE it. Right now I am running a 1.4 Ohm single coil wicked with Rayon, and the flavor/vapor production is excellent! I am running mine with the juice control pretty much wide open, and am getting ZERO flooding/gurgling....just pure vaping pleasure! Overall I am very pleased with this atty. Well worth the money IMO. The flavor and vapor prod, for me, is markedly better than a KFL+......(just IMO).....

I used the "diagonal" wicking method, where you thread the rayon (or cotton) diagonally through the slots, then double it back over and thread it through the 2 other slots (saw this method on Youtube).....it works very well!

The Rose2 is one fine rba tank system, there is no denying. But I will never part from the Russian, it's still a top performer. And right now, the build I have on Russie, is like out vaping Rose right now. Have one of those "blind Squirrel" builds, so perfect won't tear it down till the coil falls apart:D

your diagonal, I call the peel and heel method. The strand I peel back, I also tuck down to the deck, for retrieving any over wicking. Am surprised you are wide open on the jc, with ramie and 0.40 build, the most I usually open it up to is 2 full turns, though have done 3 full turns when vaping over 70 watts.

I have nothing against any other atomizer, but my Rose V2 is stellar. I like it so much that I have a Stumpy on the way as well. Like JCPwon I have JC control fully open as well, using same wick build. Doubling the wicks back through each of the four channels seems to allow juice to feed freely without any flooding possible. I have never had a dry hit, except when I once forgot to open the JC after a fill. :)

I still have my original coil from my first build, over six? weeks ago now. I think I will keep it in there until it dies just to see. New wick each weeks and my rose is as fresh as a daisy. :)

Well I shouldn't say I have mine wide open....if I did, I'd probably be able to see the little groove in the drip tip that was put there to tell you when the JC is wide open.....I probably have mine very close, though!

About 24hrs after re-wicking and I'm still getting ZERO gurgling with the JC 90% open. I am currently vaping CRFT Strawberry Blonde and am getting spot-on flavor! I am running a 1.4 Ohm single coil, but would like to play around with lower ohm builds at some point. Like Sheerluck said though, I see no reason to pull out my coil right now as it's vaping so well! I am currently running my Rose on a Supet T ELA with a Kick 2 set at 15 watts......

Sedge I can also say out of kayfuns and other tanks I have .... I've never gotten a dry hit yet....like I have from the others!! The highest VG I've used is 70/30 VG/PG but most of my juices are 60/40 VG/PG ...He also uses this stuff called Ortman fiber as the coil wick and I have to say I like the stuff and with the v3 you don't need to use the SS mesh like was needed in the v2 .... Its to date best tank I've used ...I'm a chain vaper and in the kayfun I would cook my juice, I've yet to do that with this...good luck

For any 26650 mech users, one must get the Big Buddha by Ehpro. For $35, you'll never find something that will vape better. Would put it right at the top with Erli, flashi, Rose2, and the Russian, and quite possibly will out vape the whole lot. Wrote first impressions on Big Buddha thread. Check it out.

Was planning to order the Rose v2 from Vapist.net tomorrow when I get my paycheck, but turns out they just got sold out..

Well just looked at Big Buddha Vapors and they have Rose2 for $190. They also send juice samples with rose:D

Kind of weird if you think about it, an rba named after a vape vender!

Thank you, I will check it out.

Thanks for letting me know about the samples. I can't accept the juice samples. ~$800 fine if I import it from outside Europe and the entire package confiscated. I'll tell them not to ship any juice samples if I order.
