If you got one of those mini screw drivers, you can use the little o-ring from that on the fill hole screw. I did that with my KFL and it solved my slight leak.

Unfortunately, without that o-ring the screw driver came apart and I lost some parts while out & about.

Fortunately, I also got one with my R91 and KFL+ and I already had one from an eyeglass repair kit. They're a dime a dozen.

Good call. Was going to search the vape box for an oring.

Loving the R91 other than this small hiccup. So far it has been working great. The leaking is very slow though and only gets wet at the base of the atty. Hopefully the oring will fix the problem.

You need to get a multi-meter and learn how to use it to check the ohms on the coils or buy a ohm reader first.

I'm about to order my first Russian. Any thoughts on a good gauge of wire to start? I'm going to be shooting for close to 2.0 ohms on my builds than 1.0. Also what sort of fillers? I've never built a coil so it being easy isn't going to hurt anything. The listing I'm getting for it doesn't say what gauge and thickness the wire or silica are.

But that set has no o-ring

I do have a very nice set, but not one that I keep with me at all times. Those cheap keyring minis are pretty handy for that. Got one on my keyring, one in my vape kit, and one in my boat bag.

I thought you were upset that you broke your screwdriver..that's why I suggested it. As far o-rings..my R91 came with a few for the fill screw :)

That would describe me, though I only tried mesh and cotton wicks in gennies. There are a couple of flavors that I still think taste better in a mesh genny, but I think the non-leaking and pocket friendliness of the KF outweighs that minor difference. My gennies are collecting dust. Hmm. I just noticed that my ZAP still has about a ¼ tank left. Not sure how long that's been in there, but I better vape it up!

On the 3.1s I toss the skinny top-most ring ... (under the threaded cap) thing stretches after 4 re-fills and then you have to fight with it for 20 min. Tossed it. Can't even tell. On the other hand I wish I could find the size of that tiny one embedded right under the driptip shaft. (seals the top part of the chimney)

I think there's a link to some of those on amazon in either this thread or in another thread in this sub forum that talks about a guy's o-ring melting.

My zap is my work setup and going out setup. Going out with a zap can be a pain though because of having to keep it upright. But the flavor is what keeps me not wanting anything else.

These kf style attys can be tipped over for long periods of time with no leaking? Curious because of the side air hole on them.

If you're asking about 4C from the SvoëMesto Kayfun Lite - User Manual (English) , these work great: 008 Silicone O-Ring, 70A Durometer, Red, 3/16" ID, 5/16" OD, 1/16" Width (Pack of 100): Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific

I only have one juice that causes that o-ring to expand, a cherry cola.

I don't think I would challenge them with a long time often. I put one on its side while drinking at the bar (got tired of knocking it over) with no troubles. I suspect it resists leaking better with a full tank than a nearly empty tank, but even so, I feel much more confident than with a genesis atty.

Mesh to me is the most non-intrusive, cleanest tasting setup I have ever used.

These micro builds with cotton are very user friendly though. The r91 along with my rm2 I use with the same setup are good flavor. Very simple setup. But a properly setup genny with mesh is the cleanest vape you can get. Again different juices work differently also. Noticed that I enjoy using darker/sweet flavors in these micro-cotton builds vs fruity in mesh.

Have you tried the porous ceramic wicks? I've seen a lot of people say they are the best and cleanest tasting you can get. I plan to try them at some point.

Yea I have. Mesh is easier to work with out of the two. Ceramic is very clean, but very fragile. Only one I tried though was the ceramic wicks that came with a zap I bought a while back. People rave about it though, and from what I heard you can get more durable ceramic. I think a popular ceramic is FC2000? Think that's what it's called.

The better ceramic is AO. You can view the thread http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=362182

These Russian/Kayfun attys are perfect for on the go but I have a plain ol RSST with AO wick that is the cleanest vape of anything.

Yes. My Russian sits on it's side on my nightstand every night with ZERO leaks. I hit it if I wake up, but it has lain on it's side all night without issue.
