first off i wanna say great site, everyone seems very nice and helpful to everyone. since i found this site 2 days ago, i have been on here about 5-8 hours just reading and trying to gather info... WOW sooo much i didnt know, i know this is the number one nub question, but i need some help bad. I thought i knew what i wanted till i came here lol ... now im more confused then before... i feel like my brain turned to mush, there is sooo much info to process. sooooo what would be the best e-cig for me???
I am a heavy smoker, 2 packs a day for about 3-5 yrs, have been smoking all togther about 12 yrs. I smoke marlboro mediums. So i guess im looking for a e-cig that has very good vaper, and feels like real smoke in my lungs/mouth lol. I dont want a pen looking thing, and im not sure if i would really like the metal , machine looking type or not (im in the air with this type)
i found out about e-cigs only a cpl weeks ago from smoke51, but since have learned from on here that they are not a good choice.
price really isnt to much of an issue... put i dont wanna really go over $150 and at that price it better be AWESOME :) Really i dont care what it looks like (i do care, but i have to get over the wanting of a "analog look alike" because from what i read on here, the "really good ones" look nuthin like a analog.

I have a few other nub questions as well if you dont mind.....

1. dipping or dripping? which is better and why, also when you do either of these, do you have a regular cartridge full of nicotine as well ?

2. Is it better to get the atomizers in the filter ? or to have the 3 peice where you have to clean it and have to change it out?

3. lets say i go with a 2 peice can you buy "juice" for any cartridge/e-cig?
what is the benefit for getting juice or not?

4. Is this juice just as good, as far as taste and vapor and all that as the stock cart?

5. i hear these numbers thrown around alot for example... 510 801 901 etc... are these diff. types of e-cigs? or?

any and all help and answers will be very much appreciated by this noob.
thanks again for answering the 1 millionth repeating question lol.

1. dipping or dripping? which is better and why, also when you do either of these, do you have a regular cartridge full of nicotine as well ?

They both accomplish the same thing - getting the atty soaked in eLiquid. Which is better would depend. Some atomizers have their wicks exposed and these can be either dripped or dipped. Others have the wicks inside a casing and these can only be dripped on. Caution should be used when dripping while using an automatic battery for risk of getting eLiquid in to the battery and damaging it.

2. Is it better to get the atomizers in the filter ? or to have the 3 peice where you have to clean it and have to change it out?

Depends on personal preference, having a 2-piece can be more convenient. But going with either choice, cleaning isn't a bad thing. Its an eventuality that an atomizer will die.

3. lets say i go with a 2 peice can you buy "juice" for any cartridge/e-cig?

Yes, any eLiquid from any distributor can be used for any type of eCig. Prefilled carts are more expensive. Getting eJiuce and refilling your own saves you a lot. you can also make/create your own and that saves you even more.

4. Is this juice just as good, as far as taste and vapor and all that as the stock cart?

Yes, just as good and most of the time even better.

5. i hear these numbers thrown around alot for example... 510 801 901 etc... are these diff. types of e-cigs? or?

Those are eCig model numbers. some models are compatible and parts can be interchanged. some are not. Below is a link for a compatibility chart

Brand and Model Compatibility Chart - E-Cigarette Wiki

Hope that helps

The 510 is a good choice. I own that model too. Very good vapor production, good throat hit(too much sometimes), and decent flavor. Someone else have said that some flavors benefit from being vaped through a hot atomizer and the 510 gets hot very quick.

I've experienced leakage from this model. most of the time due to my own fault(overfilling, dripping, vaping too much). Liquid does condense in the mouthpiece and can leak out from the junction between the atomizer and the cart. i'd suggest getting extra manual batteries, a USB passthrough, and a PCC is a good idea.

the Joye510 and the blackhawk510 are the same model. One is generic and the other is branded. like buying a bottle of acetaminophen and buying a bottle of Tylenol.

you can get the 510 from $35 barebones to $65 with extras here

Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store.
