A pack of Marlboro's cost 6 USD or 30c each cigarette and the cigars I use to smoke were Dutchmasters at about 2 USD each.
1 cigarettes give about 10 drags
1 cigar about 60 drags
I buy ejuice at 7 USD each 30ml free shipping. I have 10 ejuices "e-liquid-store in china"
I have the Yeti 501 paid 37 USD for 2 gold ones.
I figure a 30 ml bottle is equal to about 600 regular cigarettes or 60 cigars...or 6,000 puffs- or 30 packs of cigarettes.
So this would make the price of a pack cigarettes at .23c each pack 'minus the 501 Yetis price"
Price of a cigar is .12c
One cigarette is more less .01c
In the long run the saving is just HUGE!!!!
And IMHO the taste and pleasure is just as good as a real cigar- cigarette
And if in New York city try 14 DOLLARS a pack! that is just insane! one cigarette in New york cost .70c... When a e-cig cost .01c
if only for economic reasons alone the change over is well worth it.
A pack of day in new York cost $5,100 a YEAR!
A pack a day e-juice- 501 is $83.00
Savings a year is 5,000 USD!!!

It called continuous buying. :)

You have made the sensible choice in your PV hardware and juice choices. The 501 and juice from China. Most folks on here like the big expensive mods. Things like the Chuck, GG, Silver Bullet and various other devices come to mind. For juices they go to premium vendors like Freedom Smokes USA or Tasty Vapor where buying juices becomes a hobby, more than a thing of choice.

It's a never ending cycle, of buying new and improved hardware and juices. Even your 501 will need replacement, you may stop liking the taste of your juices. There will be a spending curve but it's all up to the choices you make.

For me, I sit somewhere in the middle. I'm committed to one vendor for Juice, and I have a couple of good hardware devices with backups for them. I have saved roughly $400 after investing around $800 in the last 4.5 months.

The main goal for me was to get rid of the analogs, and I'm happy with the money I am spending to keep them away. No issue there at all.

Happy vaping!

Just how could you spend more on ecigs then the real? i dont get it? Yeah initially sure due to the cost of the 501 and supplies.. but I think the 501 pays foritself in about 10 days..if you smoke 1 packs a day at 5 USD a pack.

LOL.....check out what's in my signature. Besides that I'm totally OCD and I have supplies for a lonnnng time in case the FDA wants to screw with my life.

TastyVapor.us bar none. I've tried a lot of different juice vendors, but nothing has given me the taste/vape satisfaction that TV juices has. I think I currently have about 8 or 9 different flavours from them amounting to close to 20oz of juice (see my note about buying juices as a hobby!). Out of all those, my absolute favourite has to be Geoffs Blend from Tasty Vapor and makes up about 50% of my juice collection.

Ohh I see, your a new vaporizer! And you really stocked up! By this time next year you'll be way up. I am up since I started in May this year about 30 USD a month in savings or 200 USD saved! I have the Joye 510, and buy liquids from china at 7 bucks for each 30ml bottle.. also i bought 5 replacement batteries and 5 atomizers extra for 75 USD. The juice I buy 10 bottles a time 70bucks shipping is free.. I burn 7 ml a day or so.. so 300 ml will last me 40 days "I am a heavy smoke on the 510!

Good luck to you! I've spent well over 3 times EASY in what I smoked in analogs as a P & 1/2 AD smoker. But I'm having a blast and Totally Obsessed! Maybe I'll break even in April 2011 if I quit shoppin'. HA!

OK, this is a guess but I'd say you are busy buying kits and batteries and mods and such LOL. Totally understand that. But I consider that stuff "free" because I'd be throwing it away on smoking Tcigs. So far I've done the v2 and Volcano Inferno and know I have more I want. Mostly lots more juice and spare batteries and extra chargers oh my. And next year, I see one of these forum mods in my future.

Dekang E-Liquid Smoke Juice for e-cigarette - YNDK PG & VG Based Liquid Custom flavors, Bottles Carts Droppers - DIY E-liquid e-juice supplies and accessories
Thats my ejuice vendor. probably the cheapest but I am a heavy smokers..about 1,000 drags a day..so I try to save some..and they are cheaper the all i found "free shipping over 29.90 USD." I buy only 10 flavors, 555, Virginia, Cuban, Honey, Cigar and whiskey etc..
Thats quite a savings, but why dont you try some of the premium flavors? From like Alien Visions, or Freedom Smokes USA or TastyVapor, Backwoods Brew, etc. I can promise you theyll taste much better and you can customize them most of the time. Actually, if you like em less spendy, check out Viking Vapor. They have 6ml bottles for 3 bucks, and it gets cheaper when u get bigger ones. The guy mixes them when you order so you can totally customize your vaping experience. PLus he has over 100 flavors

I smoke too much! i would try the better guys but I smoke 7 ml a day on average. So i need a good price and I am happy with this china firm..i think they have very good flavors and 100s of them. The 555, honey, cuban, Cigar, Virginia, Blueberry, Banana and whiskey are top notch IMHO. heck 7 USD for 30ml thats cheap

Now you've done it BestLion ... made me look up my records and tally things up, darn you!
LOL.
326 days on record as of today since my first purchase.
Average spent per day = $12.30 (unless I've lost track of a few expenditures).
At today's prices, I'd be spending about $70/week, or $10/day on cigarettes.
Yup, I'm spending 23% MORE on vaping.
But, I can BREATHE ... which I consider to be fairly important in my life. :)
Not to mention the fact that switching will likely add breathing time to the end of my life.
Medical bills at the end of that road hopefully will be less as a non-smoker, although that's not a given.

On the positive side, I didn't spend a dime the entire month of October.
And, I'm stocked up to the point where I wouldn't have to spend another dime for a very long time.
But, I most likely will.

Just sayin', economics didn't get me off cigarettes. I'm sure glad to be off of them though!
It's good to hear your enthusiasm!
Saving money is good. Saving your life is priceless. :)

NCC, Yeah you know in the price and math I didnt lay out, insurance cost and medical expense to the math..and how much is your health worth? You really are spending alot on vaping you must have stocked up on ejuice and e-cigs. If you dont buy anymore stuff I think in a month or two you'll be in teh green on smoking e-cigs.

I really don't understand how anybody can not save money vaping. I will admit I do not have a "bug" for buying. I have my 510's, ego batteries that have lasted forever so far.. But one thing I did was find a lower priced juice that is my go to vape, and then buy really good "designer" juices to enhance my vaping experience. I haven't done the math, but I do no I have been able to put more money in my bank acct this year than any other previous year, and nothing else has changed. I've ended up saving so much money that I have a custom made guitar I've always wanted being built as we speak.
I love vaping!

Actually you could buy 30ml from tasty vapor and a 4oz Doubler and have a total of 5oz for $30 or even $25 if you buy flavor of the week :)

I was hoping that somebody else would state this fact. It seems off late, all I'm doing is recommending people to Tasty Vapor. Did not want it coming across as "fanboy" doing his stuff. There is actually a method to the madness, and at the base of it all is some damn fine juice.

Happy Vaping!
