Tried the twisted 32 4/3 wrap method yesterday and was blown away.i was happy with 5/4 wrap 32 in a ihybrid but this is so much better.a lot more vapor, flavor.only drawback is its a juice hog.i guess its a sacrifice for better performance
ill try it on my DUD tommorow coz i cant seem to get it to work lately.how many wraps should i run on my DUD?

Is there any difference, electrically, between having dual coils in the traditional sense, and a twisted dual coil?

I agree with spraintz, in that the electrical circuit is very similar. Given the same voltage and individual resistances of the two wires, the total resistance and resulting total current and wattage will be the same, though it is different in that separate coils would truly be two parallel branches in the circuit, whereas the twisted wire is really only one branch.

Also, as spraintz said, the end result would be different because of the differing physical properties. One twisted coil is still just one coil around one wick, and so will concentrate all of the wattage on that one wick, whereas a true dual coil will only be concentrating half of the total wattage on each of two different wicks, using more atomizing surface area as well. The results will be quite different.
