BTW, any news on caps for the VX2 carts? I am using small amounts of tin foil to cap my carts, but it takes away from the "cool" factor when I show it off to my friends. Again, not a big deal, I guess I am just greedy

I was wondering what you guys were doing too - carring open carts could get messy. For now (havent used the case yet) I've been carring them in little 2X4 'ish zip locks - you know the 'dime' bags of *** LOL

Not sure I should mention here, but Shawn can edit or delete as he wishes. But I've found the 'cart condoms' for the 510 fit the VX2 - a little snug but works none the less. I've asked the place where I purchased it if I can just buy the cart tops and they said NO!

Let us know if you find something that works for you.

Glad you fixed your cord :p

I charged my PCC last night with the USB cord, used it all day at work and did not have a dead battery :). So it seems to be working just fine. It is nice only having one VX2 battery in use at a time, since with the PCC it is constantly charged and I can keep my other battries as back-ups. It is strange that the PCC must be hooked into the cable before the usb end is in the computer, but that is not even close to a big deal. As usual, I am happy with my VX2 and accessories, and shawn's execellent service.

So whats the deal? You and I are the only losers that have nothing better to do on a Friday night? LOL

I'm just glad I am getting all this stuff figured out. But in doing so I took your advice and got some 'low' nic stuff and also using some none nic but I still think I'm using too much. Once I figure out flavors and nic levels that suit me, I will lower them gradually but first I gotta put the analogs down (hopefully that will happen this weekend).

I am too old to go out on Friday nights anymore. My body hates me the next morning. :nah:

And you'll put them down eventually. Maybe use Medium or High instead, so it'll take care of the physical addiction. Personally, I quit for 3 years cold-turkey, and started back up a few months ago. So I had gone through it before. You have to WANT to quit, that's the first key. And for me, I enjoy the mental addiction and just having something in my hand, and I like the novelty of the better health benefits (or worse, who knows) of the e-cig.

Good luck quitting.

I smoked a pack of Newport a day before I ordered the VX2. I had a lot of doubts that an e-cig would ever be able to replace that. After reading lots of reviews and testimonials on this site I decided to give it a try.

The first 3 or 4 days were tough and I found myself still smoking 2 or 3 analogs a day, usually in the morning or at night. Now that I have found a good nic level and juice I really really like, I dont even want an analog.
I still have a pack of analogs in the glove compartment, I tried one yesterday and it tasted terrible, I just threw it out the window.

It will happen, you will eventually stop thinking about the analogs.

Good luck this weekend!

So after a couple days using the PCC i have come to a few conclusions.

It does not matter what order you plug the cord in, as I initially believed. I can now plug the usb end in my computer before the PCC and the usb end will go solid blue when I plug in the PCC. I believe I had an issue when I first tried to charge it because the PCC came fully charged therefore the usb end went dark when I plugged in the PCC.

As for the red light, when your VX2 battery is charging the light is solid red. I believe when it then lights up and goes dark every few seconds it is because for some reason or another after the PCC case fully charges your VX2 battery, the battery loses a little juice and the PCC charges it back up to 100%. I could be wrong but thats my perception. So as long as the red light is not a solid red your battery should be 100% charged or close to it.

And when the PCC is charging itself the red light will not light up. The USB cable will be a solid blue until the PCC is fully charged, at which point the USB cable will go dark.

My PCC is finally charged up, I go to load it up with my spare Bat., carts, and atty...but the case wont close unless my spare Bat is screwed in? What am i doing wrong? and now I REALLY need to know if the PCC will lose charge since the Battery MUST be screwed in for the case to close. All help and advice will be greatly appreciated!!!! 8-o

Does that mean that if you dont immediately unplug your battery from the PCC (once its charged) it will drain your PCC???

I keep the PCC in my pocket all day with the battery screwed in and have yet to have the battery drain. Since I have started using the PCC I have not charged my VX2 battery any other way, so it works fine for me. I charge the PCC maybe 6 hours a day (while I sleep) and I use it the rest of the day and it works fine.

I suppose if you just left the battery in the PCC for a few days without recharging the case it could
potentially drain the battery, but I doubt I will be in a situation where I can test that theory.

Again, I am not sure why the red led on the side lights up and goes dark every few seconds, I am nowhere close to being an expert on this stuff, this is all speculation based on my own personal experience.

I will take your speculation, and raise you a state of confusion! LOL...If youve done it and its working, thats good enough for me! Ive only had my new VX for a few hours now, but Im madly in love with it. I find Im not even topping off as much as I normally do with my pen style! The vape is great, and the atty doesnt get crazy hot when i do a nice long pull on it. i am SO glad i took everyones advice and tried this model. Of course, everything else Ive gotten from Shawn has rocked so I really shouldnt be surprised! Thanks for your help!

The PCC will not close unless the battery is screwed in. I do not believe leaving the battery screwed in will have any adverse effects on the battery or your PCC.

There is a place to keep a battery in the PCC case not screwed in, but then you would need to keep your atomizer and cart in separate slots ( you can keep a spare battery OR a cart + atomizer). I use that spot for a cart + atomizer and just keep the battery screwed in when I am not using it.

Also i found when keeping the cart + atomizer in that slot you should store it atomizer end up. If you store it with the cart end up, the atomizer may get stuck in the slot. This happened to me a few times. If it happens to you, I found that taking everything out then packing the PCC like a pack of analogs will get the stuck atmoizer out. I did this a few times until I decided I just needed to keep the atomizer end up when using that slot.

*turns cart with atty over as I finish reading post* :D thanks for the tip! I had a Blu and the PCC had a safety feature on it that would drain the Battery AND the PCC if the battery was left in after it had finished charging. It was a HUGE pain in the A**. Are you finding these carts Vape a LOOOONG time between refills?? I swear its the same as my pen! Also, once your atty was broken in , did the flavors of the liquids get any better? If so, after how long?

These carts vape a very long time. It is very nice how well the atomizer works as far as getting most of the juice out of a fill. I found that a full cart will last me the whole day at work. In perspective, I smoked about 10-12 analogs a day at work before I bought the VX2. I also vape more than I would smoke because I do not need to go outside to do it.

I actually like the taste much better now than I did the first two days using the VX2. This could also be because I am trying juice from a different supplier since then too, so who knows.

I have 0 complaints at this point about the VX2, and any complaints about the PCC are trivial and seem to be non-issues for the most part. I am extremely happy with this product line and litecig usa!!

The VX2 is the first and only PV I have used. I am relatively new to the whole PV scene and I have no experience with anything else. I was actually going to ask if I should consider getting a different model to try, but I can't seem to find any reason to. I have spent a good amount of money on back-up battries, atomizers, and empty carts for the VX2 and I just cant bring myself to do it all over again for a different model without a good reason.

So I ask, am I missing something by not trying out different models, or is just sticking with the VX2 a good bet?

Thanks,
Ill be back tomorrow after work

you are NOT missing anything by not trying other models out. If your happy (and you know it....*grin*) You are one of the lucky few who found what they needed the 1st time out. I like this model for being out all day. but I also have a larger pen model I have been using at home when Im vegging out. However, this little gem just might make that completely unnecessary. I am , in fact, in the process of getting my money back from BLU. That little PV was NOT worth the cash. Im planning on using the returned funds towards more supplies for this.

And what do you mean you are working tomorrow??? Its fathers day! I hope your day is short and goes by FAST!

Sleep well, and see you tomorrow!

Gnite!:)

Kerplunk....

The only reason I like the 510 over the VX2 is the mann batt. save your money and give it a week or so. Shawn has mann batts for the VX2 on the way.

MontanaBrat...

I think they assume you only have 2 batts, 1 you are using and 1 goes in the spare non-charging spot. Heavens forbid we have more then 2 LOL (I have 4 and will get 2 manuals when they get here)

By the way, I'm not too confident on the PCC case 'fully' charging the batts (guess it gets you by on the go) but after the PCC case starts blinking its suppose to be fully charged so I take it directly from the case on put it on the wall charger and the wall charger still charges it more....
