What needs to happen for the public to change their lingo is the "smoking everywhere" type vendors, the ones with the most exposure, like at the malls and in convenient stores, they need to relabel them first. My first exposure to them was at the mall. They mimic smoking in every way and have "smoke" in the name. On the box, under the name of the brand, were the words "electronic cigarette." That change really needs to come first so the public gets introduced to them differently.

Back on topic, though, yeah, a new theme/logo would be nice. Something more fancy. The chick on the top just looks creepy to me with the way the vapor makes her lips look alien.

That's the problem, so what's the solution? As long as actual vapers continue to talk about "smoking our e-cigarettes", we can't be surprised that we're fighting an uphill P.R. battle with the rest of the world.

Agree and agree. I'm afraid the terms "e-smoking" and "e-cigarettes" will soon be too far gone to change (if not already). There really does need to be a disassociation, but who knows how that could be accomplished....

The name isn't great but it helps newbies and people doing their first research find the site very quickly. Before you come here, there's not much else you know them as, if all you've ever been exposed to are mall and 7-eleven type brands.
I know the response is late, but hey .. I put in a 12 hour work day. Finding the site wouldn't be a problem so long as the meta tags and keywords, as well as the thousands of on topic pages which are spidered continuously ... all remained in place. This site, regardless of its domain name, would likely still be the top of the search results when someone looked for "e-cigs", or any variation of it. Sorry for the further side track. On the other hand, I don't actually expect the name to change.

Glad y'all can see my POV though. Carry on :)
