KEXP is a radio station that has been pumping out tunes since 1972. I like them because they'll play anything and everything so long as it is engaging and interesting... Not like any "themed" station today. They don't go by what record labels want in rotation so that their artists can climb up the charts.
In all fairness; I'm also a big fan of more "commercial" stuff (Sabaton and Van Canto are two metal bands on permanent rotation in my mp3 player)... But the purpose of this thread is for people to get introduced to songs/artists they may not have heard before so I take full advantage of that fact to "evangelize" about kexp...
